Ukash a success

Recently MindArk announced a new way of transfering funds into your project-entropia account, the Ukash system which has more than 30,000 outlets in the UK, Ireland and Spain and is expanding to other countries.

Forum member "Semdog" have tested the system and reports...

"Being in the UK, there are Paypoint locations on like every corner (including the building in which I work), so I tried this new deposit method and just wanted to report back that its about the easiest and quickest one on here now. Hand some cash to the bloke at any newsagents or gas station, get a reciept and type the number into PE and presto."

Ukash is about to expand their service to more countries, including Germany and France for starters.

So aswell as being able to use the old deposit methods like credit card, USD, EURO, SEK, GBP, through PayNova and Game-Time.info, Ukash offers a new easy way of getting funds into your project-entropia account.

I've used this, it's so easy, no credit card charges and staight from Pounds to PEDs missing out Dollars on the way.

It's available where you top-up your mobiles, but most people working behind counter have never heard of Ukash so you might have to tell them firmly to check the stash of bar codes at the terminal

How many PEDs do you get to the £ through it? I can't find this info anywhere.

it varies as PED is linked to USD but it looks like standard bank rates to me, I have used it and it's a good deal compared to Visa imho

Sounds like a great improvement for the gaming community of PE since Game-Time.info added 40 Euro to a 5000ped order (used to be 404 Euro 2 weeks ago and is at 444 Euro right now).

Hope they are available in germany soon! Thanks for the great news.

I hope MA works on something for in North America to espesially canada for me ;-) i know Futureshop.ca has these card things for digital music downloads and ringtones mabey they could work for it as well.

This is fantasic, my nearest shop is three doors away from me - no more hiding the credit card statements from the wife!!!!
