Dont have to be, u could add a system where u can give extra instead of doing it via the old one, hmm something like the gift system. Hmm but I donnu lol

I think we schould listen some to Cougar as well who has exsperienced it and perhaps try to get a few more awnsers from him :P?

This is an extremely interesting development. Thanks MB for posting. If you go to Massive's web site you can see screens of what this content might look like. Definitely get ready to see ads for things like Coca Cola and the latest movies from Hollywood.

I wonder if this works like Google AdSense, where we'll see ads targeted to our unique player base?

And also I think it's important to combine Massive's content with adverstising for PLAYER-OWNED entities.

Marco, can you comment on this? Will we be able to submit ads for in-game shops, land areas, etc. without having to pay Massive? Kindof as a reward for playing and being part of PE?

Hmm perhaps we can have ads on our shops and get payed for that...

So MA has signed the papers; when is it going to be implemented? I thought I had read somewhere that it was to be included not next VU, but the one after. Maybe now its getting bumped up?

But I personally dont mind if they take a few VUs to get it right, just do that: Get it right

Great idea.

We should be able to place our own adverts in-game. For our shops, land areas, for our sevices.

This would create another trade. Advertising executive (designing ads)

We could buy advertising space the way we buy appartments (perhaps billboards on the walls of PA etc...)

We could buy and sell this advertising space with deeds.

We could rent out this advertising space to others (we retain ownership and deed, they buy a time-slot for an advert, 5 days for example....)

If Nike makes the Hof 2-3 times bigger than it would have been, I welcome it

Adds are a part of RL, PE is trying more and more to model itself after RL.....

Id like to know where this, "Yay, More loot" comes from????? Did MA say that when advertising comes, loots would increase?? Highly doubt it, but, it will be a change on the eyes I guess.
