Haven't read all replies, maybe some double comment in here:

I think (and surely hope) that MindArk willkeep the name Project Entropia. Since it IS a project and will be a project because of continuous developmentin the coming decades/centuries (?!?!once more I hope ).

Also from busniess perspective that would be the wisest I recon, since even though PE isn't a big brand (yet; once more I...), they have invested in promoting this name.

On the other hand though MindArk has always pointed out that their main goal is to run a Virtual Universe (amongst making profit :P). So from that point of view, it isn't strange that they have registered webdomains that combine Entropia and Universe.
Like said in more replies, (big) companies tend to also register domains that come close to their original domainname or refer to what they do as a business.

The new name doesnt have to be a change of Project Entropia.
It might be that its a name that covers whole lot more with the "Game" Project Entropia in it. And also there might be sponsors, forums, and a possibility to buy the magazine "Entropian" and other real world items like a fan shop or whatever they may think of in the future.

Imo i hope they keep the Project Entropia as a part of the Entropian Universe!

I really dont think that changing the name is the plan.. PE is a virtual universe so they are registering domains that can lead ppl to the main site i think..

Like www.google.com and www.gooogle.com

These two url arent linked trough concept like those we're discussing, but trough grammar, if you write an extra o it will still direct you to google

Way to many bugs to officially call it done. Project Entropia is after all in my humble opinion(?) still in the colonization face.
