True I understand that you point. But what will be the need for other people to even skill up on tailoring. What will be the need for people to try to make new clothes? I have only been playing for 16 months now and I think that it is good to have new cloths come out and to have the colored the way I want.

I guess I'm not seeing the big picture yet then. What will happen then to the materials looted or mined that are used to make the clothes? I think the items will get closer to only being woth the TT price-which in turn can lessen the loot vaule people get.

Also the prices seem a bit much for me anyhow. That is also cuz i'm not a high dollar depositer. I undrstand MA is a buisness and it wants to make money as much as possible that is just the nature of business, but how will this move effect the not so rich players?

If the "designer clothing" keep being as sucky as the ninja stuff is.. I dont think its a problem for the tailorers and colorers, haha

Why would they be bound by the color palette? Its not like they stand at a tailoring machine making this shit...
They design the clothing in their RL store and MA make the designs into graphics, or the designer just store it on a useable format. The only actual limitation to the palette i can see is the colors our GFX cards can display

Maybe I'm nai-eive (sp) but... Isn't this like being able to buy the Urban Nomand and Fashion Citadel and all the others? I don't really see how they are that much different, I also think, if we had no previous idea of the Urban Noman Black Slacks, and they were introduced, we would be in the same place. "They're just Basic pattern pants colored black," Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't the kind of related?

Hunting, mining, crafting, sweating, trading, taming. This is all we can do in Entropian Universe at the moment. Think of all the things we do in real life. We read, watch TV, make love, paint, engineer, educate, get educated, dance, tailor, create stuff from scratch, find new technologies, fight, have wars etc. etc. etc. The vision of MA is to create/recreate such a universe, and these are the steps they are taking to come to that point.

God created the universe in perfect harmony, Mindark can only recreate fraction of it with trial and error, and never to be perfect.

So I say well done Mindark for at least trying.
