Well, I haven't posted in this thread yet today, so I guess I will say a little just now. I read Tiebender's comments when they were first posted, and was not offended. This community, for the most part, has been very civil in their discussion of my character and his adventures.

I am a little puzzled by the thought that I don't play... All my experiences come from playing. And as for the 'universe' itself, I feel that I am currently getting my $$ worth out of it. I am not investing tons of cash in it at this time. I had planned to originally, and I may yet in the future. Let's see what happens.

Today I spend just what it takes for ammo and repairs. It's not so bad just now. I used to long for a global (right, I still do...), but when I consider that the smallest global equates to 5 usd, it seems less important to me now.

So presently, I am taking my ease, just wandering the countryside, seeing the sights and doing a bit of shooting. In other words, I am enjoying the game. I am getting out of it what I am looking for, i.e. an escape and a bit of adventure. As long as that is the case, I will be around.

Thanks to everyone who has PMed me with their kind words and all the +reps... It has meant much to me.

Sir Donald, I believe you already know I'm a fan of your writing. Our first encounter was at CND when KB brought you up to explore. When he PM'd me and asked if I would take care of you, it was a done deal. It was my pleasure to give you the grand tour, although I don't think we quite finished, and I DO know that I still owe you the initiation.

Congratulations on your front page "Diary Debut" ... I know that you have quite a large fan base, and I'm one of them, so plz keep writing. You're not only a prolific writer but a voice of reason at times when I feel it's most needed, so thank you for that as well.

I have spent my entire Monday work day, save an hour or so, reading your diary Donald, this might be at slight determent to my career but time put to good use in my opinion.

My only concern is that my slight addiction to EU is now turning into a full blown problem, I believe a trip to a 'drying out' clinic may be in order soon.

I hear a certain amount of negativity about EU so its really refreshing to read your diary and also the positive comments from the guys and gals who still enjoy the game.
