Wow...Almost a quarter of a million dollars were spent in one month to acquire virtual land in Entropia. I am glad to be a part of this universe, watching this unfold, even if I am frustrated at times by not being able to afford this land.

I believe there is also a "Virtual Retail Boom" going on that is just as important as the Virtual Land Rush. This market is still on a smaller scale (for now) and average people can still get involved. That is, if MindArk is careful to leave a place for in-game retailers between the Vexxed Generation and Ernst Billgren boutiques.

Where was this posted? They are saying that $165M USD dollars were turned-ver ("laundered" ) and converted back into real money? For 400K..no...wait...470K users(registered accounts...not 470K simultaneous users), that is an average of over $350 USD dollars per avatar...wow.

I didn't convert any money back...but...OHHHHHHH...wait! I'll just bet that they spun the fact that they money they make from the repair terminals came to them in the form of PEDS...which MA had to convert back into real money to pay their rent, buy new servers (not for the new LA's ), and stuff in their mattresses. Still, $165M is a lot of stuffing...they must have spun something else into the mix unless people are depositing large sums for Land Auctions and then pulling them back out if they do not win.

Prepare for the next wave of OJ's...and scams on them. Looks like I'll have to...*ugh*...spend some time in PA on scam-patrol...

Well, the bigger the fanfare, the farther it reaches...let's see who's eye they catch this time: Organized Crime, Federal Regulators, Tax Collectors...
