i agree with sleeper about the fact that loads of ppl play for 24, 32 ,48 hours straight but dont advertise it as its not really anything worth mentioning, if it was there would be hundreds of threads like this...

I seriously doubt "hundreds" of people play 24 hrs straight with no sleep.

Sorry you didnt find it interesting, but if you read Bucks two threads, plenty of people did, which is why I wrote the article. The nice thing is, if you dont find an article on the front page interests you - you dont have to read the thread

I have already played several times 24 hours in my PE life....
But i have never planned to do it,thats the main difference ..
And i usually ended like " damn, i have played too much again....this game is useless..i need sleep"..
A feeling of despair compared with the feeling of victory that comes when you finish your challenge of 24hours.

I dont think you were shitting all over the article I just think your expectations of what people do are a little high. Even here you say "I can be famous for doing the same thing most of us always do"

Do you really think "most" people play for 24hrs straight? I would say not. I would go as far as to say most people would consider this an exessevly long time, hence a feat of endurance.

Have a look at the two threads I linked to in the article. You will see "most" people agree it was something out of the ordinary. You may not agree yourself, but I cant please all of the people all of the time, just most of the people some of the time. I go with pleasing the majority
