The Avatar Buck Zerofill Rogers, from the Phoenix Omega Society is currently in his second 24hr endurance hunt within a week. I caught up with him 4 hours into this second attempt and got the opportunity for a quick chat.
“I was inspired by an old thread I was reading by Stryker, where he did 1 million rounds of ammo in 24 hours and I thought I could do that…but rather than do the same, why not do melee?”
Buck went on to explain how he prepares for these endurance event:
“For my first attempt, which was Powerfisting, I started out with 8 cans of RedBull, 1 box Crunchynut Corn Flakes, 8 large bars on Cadbury's Caramello, 1 300g Rob Roberts Java, 4 litres of Tropicana Orange, 1 phone number of Chinese takeaway, 40 Benson & Hedges and some other things for emergencies.”
“My second attempt, which is using shortblades, was a bit spur of the moment, so I haven’t prepared a thing. I was out buying my new Ambu outfit yesterday and had some PEDs left over so thought why not do it again and here I am.”
On Buck's first endurance feat, he actually managed to make more than he spent, although he reports the loots are not doing quiet as well so far into this second attempt.
Despite not preparing, Buck feels confident he will succeed in his second endurance feat, and like with the first one, even plans to play poker once the 24 hours are up!

“It helps when people come to visit me, as it help keep me awake. My society has been very supportive, which I really appreciated in the dying hours of the last attempt”.

Actually, this is my bad - I didnt know what they were, thought it was just some product I have never heard of like a few of the other things in his list.

Radio was kind enough to point this out to me via PM shortly after it was published (+rep to come radio!). I messaged 711 urgently straight after, but he has not yet responded - I think he has been working on the chat client or something all day so probably hasnt seen it yet...to my knowledge he is only person who can change the front page, otherwise i would have edited it myself...

Apologies in the mean time - I should have researched what the items were before posting.

she is hardly promoting drug use. she is quoting buck. since this is truly what he said and pinky is supposed to be a reporter, the facts are the facts. if you have a problem with pot (which is only a problem cause of legal issues, but that isn't the question right now) then take it up with buck.

however, the statement about promoting drug use was tounge-in-cheek? no?
