HOF of the Month

Well, fellow Entropians, some of you may have come across the first unofficial EF HOF of the Month competition in October. Famed forumite and Entropian Stryker was the winner of that for his mighty 53k PED Aurli ATH. And I'm sure he enjoyed his wonderful prize of 10 EFD! Rest assured, the stakes have now gone up in this, the first official EF HOF of the Month competition. No less than 10,000 EFD were up for grabs for first place!

How do you enter, I hear you ask? Well, if you posted any of your globals or HOFs into the Hall of Fame forum or the UberLoots sub-forum during November then you were in with a chance! In fact, even your proud entries into the Achievements sub-forum could be about to win you cold, hard EFD!

The independent judging panel remains unchanged so Jimmy B, Jimmy B and Jimmy B have all been churning through your entries to find which ones shone out the most. Remember, any entry was a potential winner and that style counts for just as much as size! If you haven't won this month, there's still time to enter the December competition, so best of luck to you this festive season!

The results of the November HOF of the Month competition are presented below. The decision of the judges is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

First place and a big gratz goes to Frigid who wins this month's competition for posting this rather nice HOF on a Trooper Generation 04. The tt-value of 3454 PED was nothing to scoff about, but the HOF also contained two very nice items. First up was a full tt 1250 PED empty skill implant. These have been quite popular in big HOFs since the new ESI system came into place in VU8.7. Whilst they may not fetch the 1000% price tag smaller ESIs do they're still well worth having! Second up was an Angel Helmet (M) bringing the market value of the HOF comfortably into five figures.

Frigid's HOF came about as a result of the changes to the amp system in VU8.7. No longer able to rely on his sturdy Amped-Opalo set up he was forced into using a bigger gun and thus ended up hunting bigger mobs!

Frigid was also generous enough to donate a small proportion of his HOF in consolation to the green dot on his radar.

Second Place: Well, it takes something special to stand out in the UberLoots sub-forum. But with no less than four entries in November borgaard certainly did! He posted three Feffoid HOFs totalling nearly 8000 PED (with plenty of Korss guns to up the market value into five figures) with his team-mate Huntrezz. Feffoid Dream Team indeed! borgaard also found a 1000 PED Longu making November a memorable month for him. His HOFs are located here, here, here and also here!

Third Place: Of course, why get four HOFs when you can get one HOF worth five? Xen takes third place for his mighty 26k PED crafting ATH!

Fourth Place: Ridiculous good fortune can win you a place on HOF of the Month. Just ask Pirx Danford! This guy is the king of Basic Filters! He managed to global and HOF on 5-pec-a-click Basic Filters in November!

Fifth Place: There were lots of achievements worthy of mention in November. It was good to see so many people reporting their unlocks of Marksmanship, RDA and Serendipity. Some of our more experienced members brought in reports of unlocking Commando, Quickness or reaching 10k in a skill. A number of people reported their mighty EFD tallies, EF post tallies, winning the EFD lottery and other forum related achievements. Ever on the look-out for something different though, we awarded fifth place to beautician PINKY for unlocking the Thin Mohawk haircut here.

Sixth Place goes to sarkie for his achievement of netting the first ever Boorum global! Only a small one, but in the loot window is a limited BLP gun that makes the Korss guns look like Opalos!

Close but no cigar: In seventh place dub's truly historic 19k PED Rugaritz HOF gets a mention. With an astonishing market value of over 500,000 PED this could well be the biggest single loot in EU's history. Sadly, it only gets a mention here as it was posted 6 hours before November began rendering it technically ineligible!

Also only getting a mention in eighth place is helena's mighty 32k PED Hogglo. Just a few PED short of the ATH table this was a truly great HOF we admit, but my word that has to be the worst screenshot ever! However, helena will be looking to climb up the chart next month with her equally enormous Second Entity HOF!

A mention also goes to Guty in ninth place for being the only person in Entropian history to complain about getting a tower! Why? Well, it was too small!

Wooden Spoon: And finally, back to the Achievements forum for tenth place. Woefully off-topic we know, but it was impossible to resist putting one of these happy forumites into the table! First up there was Hally who managed to get married in November despite the fact he plays EU all day long! Second up was Lykke who seemed equally overjoyed with getting divorced! But taking the prize is Davedream. Most of your entries into the Achievements sub-forum took you many hard months of skilling. Davedream, on the other hand, no doubt accomplished his achievement in a couple of minutes! But, well, he's proud anyway!

Hahah...the HOF that keeps on giving!

Thanks guys...wish i could have posted more, but that HOF seems to have sucked the luck out of me. The ESI I sold while I watched prices plummet for about 2500 PEDS...the Helm I still have

Five figues would have been nice, but perhaps I sold the ESI too early before anyone knew what the system was all about. Oh well...The HOF and it's fame and fortune were quite welcome.

Thanks to the EF team for thinking mine was worthy of 1st place. I am honored and am proof that good, uber-HOF's can happen to non-depositing non-ubers.

Dream the big dreams, but keep one eye on the PED card...

I was away all of November so had to make an educated guess at the price. Didn't realise they'd dipped so low!
