A new fansite for project-entropia has been launched.
The site is using commercial software for it's forums
and gallery, vBulletin and vBadvanced Gallery.
The site contains many features including,
but not limited to...

Virtual economy system
Reputation and fame system
Advanced searchable gallery
Ability for societies to get their own private forum

The virtual economy system has no real life money involved,
it's based on posting in the forums, when a member makes a
new thread he/she will be rewarded with a certain amount
of EFD (EntropiaForum Dollars), also replying to other members
threads gives EFD, there are other ways of earning EFD too.
The EFD can be spend in the EntropiaForum shop where the
member can buy certain goods, to mention a few, buying
a costum title, colored/bold/italic/glowing username or combinations
thereof, the member can even, if he/she can afford, change the
title of another member, useful if a friend cant afford their
own, or to make fun of another.
The EFD system is there so noone feels left outside, admins
manually giving certain selected members costum titles and
fancy looking usernames can often cause envy and the feeling
of being overseen. With the EFD money system a member can buy
that when he/she has contributed enough to the community.

The reputation system involves members giving eachother good
or bad reputation "Points", at every forum post other members
have the ability to give reputation, good or bad, for the post
they just read, giving more or less "Points" to the poster.
How many points awarded from each member depends on several
factors, like how long they have been a member and how many posts
they have, the longer they have been member and the more
posts they have their "reputation power" increases.
Members will also get a small amount of EFD if they receive
good reputation.

The fame system is about members posting a screenshot of an
ingame Global/HoF message, doing so will automatically
activate a "Gratz" button which other members can click plus
his/her "Global" status increases by one.
a member gets one "fame point" for each other member clicking
the button, So a member can get many fame points from only
one screenshot, but only recieves one global point pr screenshot.
