Eomons, Warlocks Rock Eudoria

What was to be another regular Tuesday morning on Calypso quickly turned into chaos, as three locations on Eudoria were quickly swarmed with mobs that no lone hunter could take on alone.

While the EBN report had some colonists unperturbed, news quickly spread of a large heard of Eomons, a mob not seen in nearly a year, had advanced on the oil rig, a popular site for those seeking free oil. Using my TP chip I quickly ran south of Nymphtown to investigate this situation first hand.

Being cautious, I landed outside the perimeter of the rig for a distant glimpse of the Eomon. I had never seen one up close, so the monstrosity of the mob was a surprise for sure. Another nice surprise was the large number of hunters in teams, thus the green dots were working together instead of blowing each other away. Star, Skalman, Stormer and a host of others battled the massive mobs in an effort to reclaim the rig.

No sooner had I arrived that a large swarm of merp stalkers invaded the rig, bringing the already bad situation worse. While I fapped myself as quickly as I could, the Merps were faster in finishing me off.

As my head butted beaten avatars lying on the ground, some Atrox Old Alphas came into play, when off to the west drones literally fell out of the sky, as if some teleporter beamed them right in. Miner bots also appeared, with fearsome Warlocks close behind.

After three TP revival jumps ended in a quick death, not even the outside of the rig was safe; the radar was now full of red and white dots all around the rig. It was then I received a communiqué that Corinth was under a full Armax invasion.

Indeed it was when I appeared out of the Cape Corinth TP, as scores of turreted cows and bulls littered the ground. As the general crowd was heading SE I followed along to a large circle of Armax that had more colonists jumping and shooting. I saw a tall figure jumping out near the beach, a Second Entity 09 battling two hunters. "High quality hunting" said a hunter while taking a Armax Cow Alpha. Some enjoyed themselves with the unusually large hunting spawns, while others complained about the lag (and got trampled soon afterwards by bulls). Slick and Spike assisted by taking some cows off my back while I photographed the heard.

After playing with the cows I headed south of Billy's, where some reported a new Exarosaur Elite was discovered, along with some bots. However upon my arrival the hunters had already finished picking off the remaining Exarosaur Elites and were heading out.

As day two of this event dawns upon us, we see our vigilant hunters could not hold the rig from the warlocks, and the Armax/Exarosaur Elites herds has moved to a new location, waiting to be rediscovered. Where are the mobs now? Will the rig be taken back from the metal toasters? What 'special' items or ores will be found? Time will tell.

Shadow with plates will take these guys.
I have seen many solo hunters killing the Eomon. But make sure you have over 160+ HP.

Good luck to all that can loot these guys average loot is around 60-150 ped. I've been told.

WE want those events more often!

nO, at the end of those event there DONT must be a million ped item drop or something big like, no, we just want to have some aLternation !

one day per week or month mobs could invade citys etc. its very fun to do something other than this 24/7 skiLLing, you know

stiLL found no EXAROSAUR ELITE, just PROWLERs in the big horde.
