Instead, what do we get....some BS cryptic notes based on some sort of TV program that no one on my side of the "big lake" can access or even relate to.

Oh, and lets not forget the "uber" mobs that kill 95% of the players that attempt them and loot.....what???


So, yeah, I'm gonna fucking whine......cuz it's my Goddamn right as a PAYING CUSTOMER to do so.

If nobody whines, nothing will change....

This is an event that has multiply stages and will probably last a few more day, if not, a week.

Ya a swedish company is making a tv series about this irl but do you honestly think that the swedish players on this forum will keep it a secret and not post it so everyone know what's going on ?

That mutated chripy was just a fun little set back, you don't need to be uber to kill, work as a team.

So what if your a paying customer ? we all are and we have different opinions, MA makes choices, some good and some bad but i like to think that they wanna make this event unique and not some bs, kill this mob, loot this item, return it and here's your reward, so by incorporating the notes we as a group managed to have some fun an decipher what it means.

So what's wrong with this event ? you were expecting it to be over? you paid 3k for a note you didn't even know what it was for ? or the fact you THOUGHT you were gonna get a uber item cause you had the note.

It's a on going story/event just like you guys wanted, set back, work together and have fun.

I really don't think this has much to do with MA , from what i can gather it seems some TV company or Production Company have paid MA to hold an event on their behalf probably throwing a lot of ped into the lootpool 'some big hof's tonight' and with them being a swedish TV Production company it stands to reason that they would hold their event at this time when their swedish target audience is probably going to be online and ingame.

Who knows maybe some American TV production will get wind of this and then maybe hold their own event based on the series 24 or something who knows.

It's a great thing that they're expanding to these kind of events imo. Just a pity the servers still can't handle the load of people that these kinds of things will draw.

At least they're trying and letting 3rd parties have a go at stuff. It's all good and i'm sure will be better in the future.

If only they could sort the damn lag everything would be A-Ok!

ok, point taken...but, c'mon man...if this event is gonna last weeks do I have to quit my job just to be able to participate just cuz i have to be at my computer when I should be at work??? I'm talking about the fact that when I get home from work and log into EU, I find that most "Events" are over and done with....except for the lag, ofc. I'm talking about exclusion here....

Mate, you're from Canada...you're in my time zone...maybe you're in school and you get out early or you're working a night shift job or, God forbid, you're unemployed and you have the time to log in while all this is going on, but try to see my point of view on this. By the time I get home and log on, this event is OVER! If this is going to be the case for the rest of the "Event", regardless of how long it lasts, why should I bother?

I've read through 95% of ALL the posts regarding this event and frankly, I've gotten just a bit fed up. How many pages were there for the original "Notes" thread? 75? Sorry...I'm just not that addicted to this "event" when, chances are, most, if not all, significant "happenings" will occur when I, because I just HAVE to work, will be offline.

Yes, it's GREAT that MA is making an effort to create "happenings" here in EU.

It's just a shame that they're so shortsighted.

And, omg, I definitely didn't pay $$$ for any "note" and my heart and sympathies go out to anyone who did...I sure as hell hope they glean some sort of benefit from their "investment". 3.5K would buy you Windows Vista Ultimate and just look at the wonders THAT brings...

This is so odd. Who cares about these things. Reminds me of those 30 villagers living in a lost somewhere on Earth village that no body gives a dam about and nothing is happening whatsoever so they decide to create fuss about things where there arent any.
I m only of the "message looters " and I thought it would be something worthy our attention, something good but its not. It is just stupid to even write thousands of threads about it. Personally deep inside my heart i knew it was nothing worthy for a simple reason: Because I got the "note" . If I was lucky that day I would get a 500-1000 ped Global and leave the message for someone else to get, someone that likes Intrigues and stories coming right from out space.

Same with the player base in most of the Southern Hemisphere. Most of us would have been sound asleep while this event had taken place. No way I was going to get up early to participate in this event on a work day morning. Saturday and Sunday morning's are an exception.

I got up at 4:30 to watch the events grrrrr as i didnt have to go to work... but as said, yes most people would have been asleep and resting for a long and hardy day work.
