While the winter holidays are usually a time for families to come together and share stories and presents by the fireplace with a warm cup of hot chocolate, it's quite a different story inside our beloved Entropia. While it may be a time for peace and joy, massive mob kills are raising quite the riot!

In addition to the Christmas gifts and the decorated trees around Calypso, MindArk had one last present up their sleeve: Merry Mayhem! This 10 day event (December 21-Jan 1st) is aimed to make everyone from noob to uber eligible to win one of three great prizes: 10,000 ped of new make-up and textile materials, a full set of shadow armor, or even a Land Area! Now there's something to be merry about!

While some comments were suggesting that 24/7 play time in the original announcement would be 'unhealthy', MA seemed to listen, and imposed a six hour limit per 24 hours. Now we can rest assured that players participating in the event can rest their mouse fingers and grab some food. Might even have time to visit with family, even? Don't worry, there are always more mobs to kill later. If a player goes over the six hour limit in a 24 hour period, he/she is disqualified from the event.

With the event point system, 1 point is awarded for every Exarosaur killed, 3 points for every Atrox, and 10 points for every Mulaak'f. The top three contenders at the end of the event will receive the prizes. The mobs located at Club NEVERDIE also count, so you won't have to leave the asteroid rock to join in.

Now this was an insane hunt, the trox came in wavelike massive spawns at Reis every 10min or so and vanished within few minutes again.

What a massacre

30k points total should be possible for me, we will see...

Nice writeup my dear Bunny ... there certainly is a lot of controversy about this event, but as always ... MA is just not going to please 100% of the EU company 100% of the time.

Hot chocolate? stories? fireplace? doubt it, unless your in a country that has no pollution laws and your family are challenged

With the Mulaak`s in the pvp area giving 10 points the noob`s really stand a chance. A nice thaught but it seems a little one sided, leaning on the side of the more uber player, which doesnt really bother me but to say everyone from noob to uber ( just means which of the uber players will get what)

To make it more competative points should be random, from 1 point to 10 without knowing how many you get.

Just a thaught, and im sure many will disagree lol

In pvp4 the average mulaak,f is going to average around 2000 health. Now compare health levels to points awarded for each mob. There are other factors but everyone posting that ubers hunting mulaak'f are going to have big advantages are not looking at the big picture.

I dont think so, as posted in the other thread this is a respawn hunt and the biggest spawns of the 3 are trox spawns, i bet the LA goes to a trox-hunter. They spawn like mad and when you can bring em down in the same speed they spawn you should have an advantage to the ubahs hunting mulakf, the problem is... the ubahs know that tooand actually they can bring em down that fast. But at least most mid-lev players can do too, so this gonna get a big challenge for all!

I think that if a uber is luckey enough to not face another player in pvp4 and get a great respawn rate of the Mulaak'f, then it will be no doubt about who is winning
