Congratulations to Linden The Chosen Avery, winner of the 2008 Massive Multiplayer Online World Championship!!


Avery poses for a victory photo with the Entropia Universe Booth Models, Jennifer and Oona.

In a grueling best-of-three hunting competition in the Grand Final, Avery narrowly outlooted Jenna Star Mercury to claim the 2008 MMOWC title, along with a Land Area prize provided by Mindark. Mercury was awarded a 10,000 PED runner-up prize, also donated by Mindark.

The two finalists bested a field of the best hunters on Calypso in the earlier rounds of the MMOWC to reach this Grand Final, held live at the Entropia Universe Booth at the CES Convention in Las Vegas, USA.


The two finalists, Avery and Mercury, furiously hunting in the third and deciding round, while Neverdie provides live commentary for the convention audience.


Congratulations to both finalists, who really proved themselves to be among the most elite gamers in the world during this high-pressure and intense competition!!
