NyTeknik mentions Entropia Universe twice, on the same page

Anyone who has the latest edition of Swedish NyTeknik can, on page 17, read about dynamic advertising in online games. They mention Swedish sport/racing games that use/will use advertising in their games, but they fail to mention Entropia that has used it for "long" now. They even mention MS-owned Massive, but alas no mention that Entropia is using them.

Second there is a pice about "Sanningen om Marika" winning an iEmmy award (you know; Entropia Universe Is First Virtual World Ever to Contribute to Emmy Award) and again, even if they do mention that it was won in an collaboration of TV/internet, they fail to recognize that Entropia played a vital role even in this story.

I already sent an e-mail to the author.

(By the way I made a search on their site and the last hit reveals a year-old article about the biggest game-developers in Sweden. Mindark is put down as number eight and mentioned to put their time and money into expanding to other platforms such as game-consoles and Mac. )

I don't see that ad system in eu as even being in use.. ok sure 2% of the population got ads perhaps but that for me is not an ad system in use.

I just don't get it how hard it can be to get for example, coke, Pepsi, Microsoft, apple or any other of those big companies to get ads in game.

What is MA doing about this? well nothing it seems :/

Haven't Microsoft bought Massive? lol... if so they should least have some ads for themselves?


(btw I saw a Puma ad once, biggest company I have seen ads for and then I have seen some for Stockholm University and stuff like that )

well the one for the game design on university of stockholm is made by themselves as they own land.
