Took a lot of research to write that article didn't it?

A virtual economy centred on China is being set up as a rival to the online world Second Life.

Still, any publicity is good publicity I suppose.

It leaves me wondering what virtual jobs all these new guys will be doing, and more importantly who will be paying them for whatever it is?

Yup, it has been for a little while now.

Fox News, Business Week, The Guardian (UK), Forbes, USA Today, The Washington Post, The Miami Herald, Sydney Morning Herald, The Age and China Daily are all now also carrying the story (amongst many, many others).

i reckon a lot of it will be designing locations, clothes, etc.... by the look of it probably EU will look a little more like %that other game%, though probably a lot more controlled.... not user generated, better in the eyes of the chinese government probably....
