As always, your guides go above and beyond what would normally be found in the forums. I think I can confidently say that you are the best source of information I have seen on the topic of EU. Thanks again for making things clear for everyone that wants to know a little bit more about how the game works. Anyone who learns from your posts is in your debt.

Hi all :-)

I have seen a couple of hunting guides but this one is by far the best by a long way. Just a suggestion but maybe putting a list of hunting grounds for skill levels would be awsome.

hm, you might check wiki

just for say daikibas there are 3 grounds i know off the top of my head ^^

and for skill levels you cant do it
person with 1000 rifle and m2100/opalo against bery young bad idea
person with 1000 rifle and opalo +101 against bery young will work, bery old not...

it depends a lot on equipment, armor, etc

but i will think about it

Can I mention though, maybe you could add the both types of Critical hit.

The "Additional Damage" (Dmg x2)
The "Armor Penetration" (Dmg bypasses armor)

Can you give your opinion about it?
Is it good for a certain kind of mob... w/e?

well, first

i deteste L armor

if you keep your repairable armor repaired (what you actually can) you won't suffer a real decrease of the protection when it decays, and you don't have to buy it all over again

but anyway

i didn't mention what armor is good against what because it is a lot of crosslinking

so, best thing you can do, is check what protection level your armor has
Stab: 6 HP
Cut: 9 HP
Impact: 11 HP
Penetr.: 7 HP
Shrap.: 0 HP
Burn: 5 HP
Cold: 0 HP
Acid: 0 HP
Electric: 0 HP

interesting stuff in red, next yellow, green is exotic

as you can see, your armor has the highest protection in impact, what is good, since most melee damage mobs deal that

second highest is cut, what means, it is good against argos too (they deal impact and cut)
against what level of argo depends on your weaponry now, so i can't make a clear statement

combined with the stab protection, you have an acceptable protection against small trox and trax (26 protection, atrox young does around 30-40 damage i guess, so, not too bad)

you also have 12 damage against bots
the drone 01 does 20-30 usually, so not that bad too
but it isn't really an anti bot armor

so, best you can do is check the damage types of the mobs

well, and ofc, the try and error method

if you want my opinion generally, get shogun

Stab: 10 HP
Cut: 10 HP
Impact: 10 HP
Penetr.: 5 HP
Shrap.: 0 HP
Burn: 10 HP
Cold: 0 HP
Acid: 0 HP
Electric: 0 HP

beats the predator in any case (alright, 1 protection in impact less), is repairable, lower max tt if repaired

if you want my opinion why ppl should buy predator
then for the look

it is mainly a fashion armor, not something useful to hunt with imo
but atm L armor has no real advantage compared to noL armor, as long you keep the nonL armor repaired
that way you also keep more flexibility

edit, i might add
armax do cut and stab if im not mistaken, shogun is better against that too

Hope you wont mind me saying Vivo T1 is actually 0.9pec a go though (100 uses are 91 pec) so even better value.

heck, when i updated it i searched for fap5 and changed it to vivo
forgot the decay :P
