Question: Colour of Wings?

So, pretty much I've been working on a REALLY big project. I mean REALLY biiiig.

All I want to know... I'm taking a survey, which type.colour of wings do YOU prefer?

...depends on what they are attached to, what the wings look like and what they are attached to looks like too.

wings for what? i would say Red like blood with white shadows....

This is a tough thing for me to vote on not knowing the context of the character/creature the wings would be attached to. I think they all have their own appeal. I really think that the type/color of wings would have to depend on the image you are trying to represent ie... Brown Eagles wings I would associate with a bold, brave, proud type of character/creature. White/dove I would associate with peace and innocence. White/glowing I would associate with goodness and the spiritual. Black I would associate with a menacing dark figure.

The bottom line I think the choice has to be made based upon what the artist is trying to portray.

On an aeroplane? Any colour, as long as they don't fall off!

On a butterfly/moth? Any colour, as long as it does not commit suicide by flying into my beer.

On a mosquito? Any colour as long as the mossy is dead.

On a bird? Any colour as long as they are not pinioned.

So to be honest, any colour.

So pretty much I've gone with white... only because it suits the character. *shrugs* And it has the second highest amounts of votes, so thats good for me. ^^ I'll show you guys the image when it is finished, I will screen shot it on EU.
