Hello everyone,

Player content has been interesting so far but I have a few problems with it..

First of all, a lot of you know about my gallery and have even had tours from me directly. I lost count but I have given over 100 tours now. On those tours some of my fellow entropians have commented about the frames my photos are in. Reon frames were the target most of the time.. While it is nice that we have frames to upload into.. They are damn ugly with some pictures!

*pokes MA* How about some other craftable frames/signs?


Now lets talk about BP drops for frames and the stupidly high prices on Gigantium signs. I buy Megaview signs (PC), Reon-S (PC) and Reon-W (PC) signs as often as possible because they are never on auction when I need them. Was lucky enough to loot a Reon-T (PC) limited bp a while back.

*elbows MA* How about some more sign BPs?


Next thing.. I get complaints about my prices. A bunch of folks like my stuff but cannot afford my prices. Most of the people that complain about the prices do not understand the process you go through to even get the images in EU. Upload fees are not that bad if you upload a low quality image. My images are large and crisp and cost a lot more to upload than the small pixelated ones. Also, my works in the gallery are all limited to 10 per work and size category available to said work. So all the works are limited to 10-20 each. I will not break my promise of keeping works limited. Since they are limited I should charge more.. but my prices are actually comparable to others unlimited art. Last time I checked I was the only artist in EU offering limited works. I could go on and on about this.. but what could make my photos less expensive is if MA didn't force us to repair the signs 90% and didn't charge such big upload fees for large images.

*bites MA* Every heard "starving artists" before MA?

In MAs defense on upload fees and sign repairs.. This does keep a lot of folks from uploading loads of "obscene crap".


Lastly.. I can no longer upload for whatever reason.. my avatar is bugged I guess. I put in a support ticket with MA and am waiting for an explanation. I know I did everything right to upload.. I have a whole gallery to prove it.

So who is for making (PC) a little better?

Well it was expensive from the start. MA knew what they were doing and I don't think they wanted to cater for people like me. Maybe next time, next planet, next future.... Nicer frames would be wonderful... customizable frames would be great (but i'm sure they will cost again)

Where to go from here? I just feel like I'm out of options.

I agree 100% with the thread starter

° 90% repair minimum to be able to use a sign
° uploadfee's > the better the quality (the larger the image) the more ped it costs
° pple willing to buy player content are not to happy about the prices
> 90% TT screen
> uploadfee's
> a price for the art itself

... it all adds up

for the complete price (screen+uploadfee), you can host a complete website with images! It is rather expensive... they might want to revise the system
(one can have idle hope)

I for one make digital artwork, I'd like to upload my work and contribute to the community.. but don't have the initial starting funds (yet)

so, MA, make player content more accesable!

90% TT minimum? ridiculous
