Looks like I'm gunna have to get out good old Windows Movie Maker or that slightly better brand of digital editing software that I may have downloaded and not registered lol.

I've actually been wanting to do something like and dedicate a youtube channel to it so this is convenient.

I have insane vision of Epic PvP Movie with Epic Music, but...I am not uber player with uber items and I dont have uber friends with uber items to make it.

I think such movie would be loved by everyone...movie about "pvp legend". one part would be epic fight 1 vs 20 :P

... Like I see the whole "project" ... is like someone IRL opening a new shop/firm ...etc. They usually give out "freebees" ... like Soda/Balloons etc. for the children ...and a BEER (cheers) .. "Currywurst" (i.e. sausage flavoured with curry) for the adults ... who come to the grand opening.
In other words : ADVERTISING ....

From my p.o.w. SS might just have a vision/plan to whether adding xxx new "players" to the base community is good for both EU - but certainly for him as en "entrepreneur" as such too.
A LOT more new players using crafted items for Hunt-Mining- etc. .... and (hopefully from his p.o.w.) ... they all remember his name/ads etc. and will use his services (i.e. "SoSa Mining Amps INC .... in their "playing" time inside EU.
... I believe (almost no one) will give away money for free without a little "plan" behind it. But again - with ADVERTISING you have absolutely no guarantee of the "payback" from an investment.
Of course it will add to SS´s "FAME" by publishing such promotion´s for EU.

Summary: In total I think its a great initiative ... big + rep from here.

(oh and about the number of "extra" UBER´s from crafting - u better address someone from MA) ---- its all "dynamic" Sammy - you know.

If i will have some nice idea and will have time to make movie (dont have any skills in that :P)i will participate for sure!

But something i would like to say:
Voting should be changed, because voting will be done like "i vote for my friend even not looking rest videos". Few not so well known ppl can make really great video with perfect content and get only few votes when some well known avatar with not so good video will receive a lot of votes form his friends (20k is a big prize!!! and there can be such stuff).

I think you your own make judgment as you your own better know what you want see in videos and what content is better for newcomer attracting to EU.

Or maybe 50% you your own judge and 50% community what makes total rating and ranking.

And simple video voting are never objective.
There must be some parameters for video to judge.
Example (just example):
Info content: 0-10 pts (info presented)
Video content: 0-10 pts (video under info presented)
Music: 0-5 pts
Effects: 0-5 pts
Voice and it`s quality in eng: 0-10 pts
Smooth video merge: 0-5 pts (no any gaps and lost frames and etc)
Community rating: 0-10 pts (how community (we) rated this video)
POINTS TOTAL: 0-55

forgot to say that for example in one video about hunting where one man show full Eon armor and another show for example Vigilante then there is no difference. Eon man is not better just because of Eon Better is man who presented it better, by showing concept with most attractive in interesting way. Newcomer dont know difference between Eon and Vigilante or Settler. It`s just armor
