With those we can reach a new audiance, but also, maybe convience those 700.000 that downloaded the game and didnt understand it to try it again.

On one hand, it's kinda nice see folks aren't rushing out crap vids and just hoping. I'm sure some folks are working hard making there videos just perfect. and that's great. Excellence takes time.

4) Video topics are as follows: Professions How-To and facts.. Talking about inflation in the game, Talking about how much certain people won, lost in game, Player interviews, Newbie Guides, etc.. All videos will be accepted, obviously.. But it's my desire to see some really useful stuff made. Watching people dance stupid in Twin Peaks isn't what I'm after.

5) All videos are to have the watermark for http://www.entropiaforum.com/forums/...piaBlogger.com, as these videos will be posted on the site. Also, it would be nice for an actual written guide/story be submitted alongside it, so it can be posted in the blog!

6) You must agree provide me the raw video if you are chosen a winner. I will want this only if I think I can further optimize the video for sites such as youtube, etc.

7) The contest will last 120 Days, and then we will all vote!

8) Please refer to my other post on EntropiaBlogger, for which I am hosting another contest, this time for writers!

Dates would be fabulous - they're a pretty important detail in a 'contest.'

Also - it could be that there are no entries to this because of a lot of confusion with Sammy's 'ideas.'
He 'pays' up to 5k per video - if he likes it and if you join his society.
So why enter a contest to be judged by the entire community - when you could join his soc and make just as much on a regular basis by doing video productions.

Really nice ideas - but ideas don't mean jack shit until you implement them. So, some clarity would be nice and would probably get the entries rolling in.

On that note - I can't wait to see people's entries to this.
I don't know if I'll be entering anything as I don't know if it would be fair to others here at EntropiaForum. Not saying that I would win cuz I'm poopular - but I don't want to discourage others from entering. Someone might believe they won't get their deserved exposure because a forum slut like myself was all over the contest. We'll see in time - but as of yet - I will just produce my fabulous movies that I'm working on for fun, not as contest entries.

Sammy - please let us know the timeline for this contest - so we can watch some fabulous movies come out of the woodwork.

Just had to count on 120 day, near the end of October, was thinking I missed it.
Got a great plot for a video, going to take a bit of work, at least I got the holidays on my side.
The end date, is within October, not certain on the day, so at least before the 5th I'd say.

Mhm... I tried to PM sammy, but it's like on this thread - he seems to have vanished... I can live with a rough september-ish sort of deadline, but like many others I also found that blog, that shall be pimped with our vids, very outdated... So, before I really get to work and shoot everything I want to shoot, could you sammy, confirm that this is still a running project and is not canceled for some reason? If the project is still up, could you provide us with

a) a deadline
b) a precise information where we can find a logo of your blog to use a s a "watermark" (like half transparent in one corner?) or is it fine to show the web adress really big at the beginning and the end of the vid? Or do you want us to also create a logo for you? (Like: guy in pink underware riding a snable while wielding a battle axe)
