Atrox Anyone? - (VIDEO)

It's no secret that JSA loves to mob herd ... and depending on what kind of mood we're in, no mob is exempt. Before "Merry Mayhem" was introduced by MA, my socmates and I had been out terrorizing Atrox South of Ithaca for over a week or so. On this particular night, just Mac and I were out lookin' for some adrenaline-pumping action ... and we found it.

Well, I don't think it was a body odor thing ... not as much as it seemed to be SOMEthing that was attracting the mobs to Mac. Oh wait, you mean ... PHEROMONES? Perhaps a check on the gender of the DNA South of Ithaca is in order?

Hey Mac ... you're right, it WAS the little herd, but I didn't get footage of the more massive one, and now wish I had. Perhaps when we make another go of it, eh? It WAS fun though ... especially when I launched a rocket into the middle of them!

Yes, that would be nice, BUT ... I was using my 2875 with no amp (as I discovered), and besides ... I wasn't shooting just one at a time, I was all over the place and making fun out of it for the video. I'm actually much more serious when I'm straight hunting.

However ... not everyone is uber with uber gear like you and others my dear, so as a mid-level player, I do just fine under the circumstances. I'm not out to smack 'em down in record time ... I'm out to have fun and enjoy the process while observing and learning what I need to do better.

I also wasn't able to participate in Merry Mayhem ... it was because of the amount of time I had to spend online this last Sunday with Part 2 of JSA's Annual Xmas Giveaway event, so that disqualified me. AND ... in that case, it didn't matter how fast I took down the Troxies ... besides, that video was taken several days before Merry Mayhem even began.

Hey Zar, thanks ... I used to spend hours and hours with the picture storytelling, but now I have the videos and don't have to use so much text. It's still time-consuming, as people like YourMom can attest to I'm sure, but the more comfortable I become with this new software, I'm sure that I'll be able to add not only more features, but get faster at making them as well.

When I start teaching in a couple of weeks, I'll have less time, but will still keep it up ... it's just too much fun, and besides ... our fellow Entropians provide such a wealth of unscripted action ... and that's what I find most fun, catching people candidly, except for those who pose for the fashion of course (and some were actually unaware I was filming them). All that other fun stuff is pure candid capture (even the fireworks in the Ring Toss video ... some female avi was enjoying setting them off), which gives me a lot to work with.

I love YourMom's videos ... and I'm working more on "themes" ... but again, I love the candid stuff I can capture when people don't know you're filming ... it makes for fun viewing. One of these days I'm going to plan a major production after the "EU Mob Idol Auditions," but in the meantime, I have a couple more in the works, including a little something different for a New Years celebration.
