The Capital Crafting Contest - (VIDEO)

JohnCapital of TCF (The Chosen Few) held the first ever crafting event at Hadesheim on Sunday - January 20, 2008 and invited me along to capture some footage and create a video for him. The event was not only successful, but produced some interesting results. "The Capital Crafting Contest" event thread provides all of the details pertaining to this contest.

Glad you like it JC ... I refined it a bit more and updated the post, but you may not be able to tell where! I just wish I had the hours to put more into it.

Thanks Hon ... and while some may have thought that a crafting video would be boring, it's always the people that make the event, and this time was certainly no exception. I only wish I would have been able to catch the two globals (yours and Dream's), but due to the design of the space, I wasn't able to get a full view of all crafting booths.

The bar brawl video will be fun ... I have some great footage, and my brother found the music track I was looking for, so I'm happy about that. It's probably going to be a much lengthier video because there's just too much good stuff not to include it all. It had me non-stop laughing, and I really had a lot of fun being a part of it.

Yes indeed, that track can easily get stuck in your head, so you can imagine how stuck it is in my head from just editing the video footage. I'm not complaining though, I actually like the upbeat music. The track I'm using for the bar brawl video is pretty much like that as well.

A "BUMP" for The Capital Crafting Contest video ... especially since JohnCapital is about to host yet another crafting contest on the 26th ... "Capital Crafting Contest II" ... so watch the video in this thread and get an idea of how this all comes together, but also see that it doesn't have to be a boring event. It's the awesome personalities of the people who make the events, not the events themselves, and with so many nutbars out there, you never know what might happen!

I plan on being there ... so sign up now in the new contest thread highlighted above and bring your craziest self to the event, because I just might capture it all on film for the "CCCII" video. I'm also donating more to the prize pool to kick it up a notch, and seeing whose pockets I can pick in the meantime to give it even more of a boost.

Now get over there and sign up ... it's quite the creative event, and produces a bit of anxiety along the way not knowing how well anyone did until the end when it's all counted. The anticipation can only be exceeded when JC announces the results.

How about another bar brawl after, eh?
