Event Area Rates 2

For all you event promoters out there, here is a quick list of the official event areas in the game, and their rates.

Entries on the public list are displayed as:

"Name; Event Creation Charge [one off fee], Event Area Charge [fee per hour of event] (date of last check)"

Entries on the private list do not include the fees, but these will use the standard Land Area charges whenever they are set to public.

Charging system example:

For a 0.5 hour event on a Land Area you will have to pay 50 PED to create the event and another 25 PED to reserve the area for half an hour. This means the event creation cost is 75 PED.
For a 1 hour event on a Land Area you will have to pay 50 PED to create the event and another 50 PED to reserve the area for an hour. This means the event creation cost is 100 PED.
For a 4 hour event on a Land Area you will have to pay 50 PED to create the event and another 200 PED to reserve the area for 4 hours. This means the event creation cost is 250 PED.

Due to my avatar being planet-bound I cannot provide up to date information about CND. However, the details below apply whenever public event creation is switched on.

Check the CND Dome settings at Entropia Directory for details of which mobs appear in each dome.

The hourly fee is what the system charges you for holding an hour long event. If you hold a half hour event you pay half the fee. So for a stable the creation fee is 60 PED, and the fee for half an hour would be 30 PED meaning a total event creation cost of 90 PED.

There are some previous examples of Stable events, such as the Brawler Fest.

Vote events are where all the event participants cast a vote to decide the winner of the event. I think the intention when MindArk designed it was that you could use it as a public voting system in a fashion or talent show. Unfortunately, however, it is wide open to abuse as it can be rigged easily by a group of friends entering the event and voting for each other.

Thanks for pointing that out.

Atlas Haven stable did disappear some time ago, but the event area was still shown on the map. I had assumed that MA had buried the stable under the ground and were planning to dig it out later (like they have done with other buildings). I will visit the location again today to check the current position.

Edit:
I still can't find the stable and now even the event area marker has disappeared from my map. I think it is safe to say that the Atlas Haven event area is gone for now. I better check the other ones too.

Updates:

I have removed Atlas Haven Stable as I can no longer find the event area on my map or on the ground.
Ithaca Bar appears to be bugged. There were 2 bartenders when I visited, but no event organiser. The event area still appears on the map though so I am keeping it listed for the moment.
I can't reach the Omegaton Stable due to an infestation of Falxangius. The details will have to remain unconfirmed for now.
