Welcome to a new and hopefully improved mining for murderers event.
This month I will try to cater to both amped and unamped miners by having several smaller competitions in addition to most globals.
The balancing is probably quite rough but we'll see how it works and make further improvements for next month.

Everyone to complete this month's mini-game after the winner 50ped cash


The mini-game is pretty straight forward, you need to find a certain amount of certain size claims.

Lanorium II:5 III:10 IV:10 IX:3
Frigulite II:5 III:10 IV:10 IX:3
Blausariam II:5 III:10 IV:10 IX:3
Dianum III:5 IV:5 IX:1
Any mineral or enmatter XIV:1

I will make a visual representation of this and a scoreboard shortly to make it easier to get an overview of yours and your opponents' scores.

The event starts on march 5th to make sure people see the update in time and don't fall behind in the mini-game

All screenshots must contain location and timestamp and be posted here within 24 hours.
Obviously the non-global screenshots must contain the full claim deed information.
In case of a tie in the most globals category the one with the highest single claim will win.
In the unlikely event of a tie in the highest claim (remember, non-tower. if you got a tower you won enough for this month ) category I will award all winners with the 250ped hunting service credit.
In case of a tie in the zanderium category the one with most globals will win.
A robot ship counts as a global point.
This month it is possible to win several categories.

I know this may sound incredibly selfish, but i am out of all games now, apart from the tower one.

As i go unamped it is impossible for me to find a X find. Therefore minigame is out, but just to say +rep for your effort to get more out of it. Fantastic job

Hey Ace, I got twice X claim w/o amp,

1 was on taxed area ( TI ) and another on eudoria.

Thank you, I was actually thinking long and hard about what sizes to use that could all be found unamped and I was sure that I found some lol. I'll change it, still have a few more days to tweak until event starts
Is XI possible? And frequent enough to find in a reasonable period of time?

And about this
apart from the tower one
just to make it clear for everyone it's the highest claim that is not a tower that gets the highest single loot bonus

This is for ores right? I don`t have much experience in that so i´m not sure about this

Emmm XI, yes as all other sizes are possible, only those i have shown arent. Whether XI will be found enough, i have no idea lol, 3 might be pushing it unamped but for someone with a 102 amp upwards likely hood goes up a lot, so difficult choice. People using higher amps than 101 will find all claims from V upwards easy to get. It is just the III's they will not find, easy to rectify by taking the amp off. Maybe have two goals, ie you can only go for most globals OR mini-game, but not both??

This is a prime example that MA need to look into, it is awfully difficult to make mining events to cater for all miners, ie amped and not amped.

I personally think you are better off forgetting about unamped people as i cannot see a fairway of including them. Unless you take out all claims above VI lol, which is not really fair

I have never found an X unamped and as above either, there has been several threads in the past about this, ie people claiming they had found these sizes, but no one to date has ever produced a screen shot to say it

One idea, maybe to introduce a few II's as they are quite difficult to find!!! And would mean you need to mine longer with out amps

I was actually thinking of putting some II in from the start but wasn't sure if they could be found with ore. I haven't mined much in a few years and almost nothing unamped
How does it look now? I removed the Xs and replaced them with 5 II instead.
