I was thinking of making an event, based off of capture the flag, but instead of a flag we could use some random item or something. Anyway here is my idea, we have one pvp area, eather in pvp1-4 or I would make an event and make it pvp(it would cost a bit to join then). Anyway in this pvp area we would have two judges on the outer edges with a flag(item) in their inventory, so no random guy could take it. There would be two teams, who have to get to the "enemy" judge trade him and get to their judge across the field and trade him to score a point, in the case of a death the item is out of play and must be returned. Anyway, this is just an idea but does anyone think it would be a fun event? Also would u be willing to buy a ticket (this would mean some prizes to) or would you want it to be free in a pvp area? I guess until I find out if this sounds good and where it may be hosted I can not really give any more details or ask any more questions.

It works IRL and sounds pretty good for EU too.
I've never played it, but I have seen others do so paintballing...looked like fun. Instead of an item or flag which may be difficult to work out, maybe each team could have a person to protect/kill, or is that another game variation? Ubers would be all over this, but it would work for everyone if weapons allowed were limited maybe ? Good idea, nice and simple like all the good ones. Because it is in PVP, the judges/human flag would have to have a lot of health points and a good FAP so they cannot be killed accidently by stray/close fire. I haven't played in PVP, but this sounds cool!
Would be great if there is a way in the event system to disable teleport chips and such. Great idea! ![]() |

As far as guns go, I figure if there is enough intrest I could maybe make one for good players and one for medium players. Teleport chips I don't mind to much, since if a player misjumped they could end up getting blasted away by the opposing team, also it evens the odds if the spawn is far away. As far as killing players for points it would work, maybe make a base for each team and the player to kill is like the general who stays around the base with a defensive force and have another offensive force, but that takes alot of players and I don't know if we can get that.

see if you do an event, no one but the people in the event can be in the borders of the area.
a better idea is to have the judge be the flag himself like playing hostage. |

This works well.
Just have the item be something that gets looted from a pvp looted zone though. See in this way. If some one steals teh flag form their judge. Then anyone who kills the theif gets the flag bakc and can give it back to their judge. the contestents woudl have to be honrable though and give back the players bullets or whatever can be looted. Having never been in pvp where oyu can be looted I don't know what can be taken. So if you see problems in this think on those. but this woudl be the best way to run the game. Or as suggested a hostage scenario. If the hostage gets killed then it automatically returns to the hostage hold area where it started from. The hostage can eitherhave armor or not depend son how you play it. You could take the example from counter strike and give the hostage low armor and a limited hand gun they can fight back with. |
