Echo's 42 PED BEACON.

For those of you who dont already know I purchased a 42 ped beacon on auction about a month ago and have had all sorts of hold ups trying to get it run.
Between WoF and LG also major server issues it has been a long and drawn out process..

Now with LG finally completed it is time for me to get the ball rolling..

I aquired this beacon as a way of thanking the many dedicated beaconeers who have run a multitude of beacons with me over the last 3yrs.
There are a few people who are confirmed members of this beacon and the mission will not leave without them...I gave my word.

Auktuma has made a very kind gesture of putting up for grabs 4x5E plates to the team member who gets the most loot from one box!!.

This is an awesome prize and I am looking forward to seeing who the lucky team member will be.

I will be taking footage of the mission and will have a detailed account of the goings on posted on here after the mission.

If you have not been invited already and think you have what it takes to be an asset to the team feel free to offer your services. Dont forget to include a brief note of your HP and equipment.
The mission has no set date at this point but will be run as soon as the 6 confirmed members are all online at the same time and others will be contacted at that time to come along.

Pinky has written an amazing account of the goings on and I thank her from the bottom of my heart.

20:00 MA time had come and I could feel the excitement of not only myself but countless other Entropians who were waiting for this Mother Of All Beacons to run. My hands were starting to sweat and I was starting to panic the closer the time came as a few members of the team had not yet arrived including 2 that the mission would not leave without...

With 5 min warning ringing in my ears from my friends in ventrilo I had a wakeup call...Connection Lost.....As I fired up the trusty Gold Card to log back in the chorus of excitement started ringing out across ventrilo...STARMAN IS ONLINE!!!!! these are the words I had been so anxiously awaiting.

After several phonecalls we were saddened to know that 2 of the team were unable to attend and it was time for a last minute team shuffle.

cK and m2s stepped up to bat with some uber team members joining us at Orthos.
We teleported to the LZ and Pinky politely asked for everyone to lineup for a group photo and the team happily obliged.

The shuttle docked at the ship and it was a race to the tp to see who could get there first. Pinky and I waited at the TP until we could be informed of what floor was up if it was safe for us to advance.

First floor was the Red floor,Ramps or pyramid whichever you chose to call it. Seeing the Brute force of the Team I was so Honoured to be a part of was humbling and I was starting to feel sorry for the poor robot menace who were falling like snables infront of some of the best EU has to offer.

Watching the teams yellow dots in a small swarm of Ultimate power the bots fell so fast I could hardly target them to see what generation they were. By the time I had a target it was a wreckage.

Next was the pit and the race was on to find out the 1/2 way boss.
SEG 05 is the call and the team switched into 3rd gear and turned him to scrap in the blink of an eye.

the next floor was the Reactor, blue tp's or round room . All SEG's1-4

Hanging back with Pinky just as we reached the TP to go up the blue message of death rocked my chat window. Ogulak Da Basher was killed.
As the white screen cleared I saw at the first Ramp of the Pink floor Da had fallen and the team was gathered with Star and Starman firing up the trusty Res chips. This was my moment to prove my worth and I fired up the Powerful Resurrection chip...With all her noobiness Echo dropped to one knee.....OMG no yellow message IT WORKED.....WB Da!!

Sadly there was no maze and the final challenge awaited the team on the Boss floor. Leaving 2 SEG's at the east of the tp the team raced across the boss floor to see who could reach the boss first ROFL.

Then comes the call SECOND ENTITY GEN 10....
Weilding the POWER they had earnt through years of skilling they summond the SEG who lept from the platform towards us.
With an attack of biblical proportion the Boss was reduced to a plie of rubbish before reaching the Team and it was time call the floors, return to the tp, take out the remaing two SEG's and LIGHT UP THE GLOBAL CHAT.

The rest is history......

Nice 1. It would be interesting to see footage of the end boss which is a big bulk?. Beacon loot has been really good recently. We have run 2 in the past week and have profited on both. We are running another one later this week! Good luck!

I don't know what a beacon is like, having never done one. But gee they sound fun! Can't wait for the day i'm ready (could be now, dunno how hard they are!). I assume 42 ped is the biggest? Well good luck, and if you need some recruits, i volunteer lol. Don't think my hp and equipment are up for it tho. Can't wait for next depo, buying vigi! Good luck mate.

Have no idea what the boss will be atm...Big bulk 10 warlock 10 who knows we have had some interesting things happen on beacons lately..

We ran a large 35 recently and the boss was a Big Bulk 04.

just a tip for u echo take some peopel with revive chips that can use em ofc u probly alrdy knew that but stil it will save u lots of trouble i done 1 once u can expect the normal bots to be second entity the ocational warlock and big ass bulk bots gl to u on ure mission and cant w8 to see pics

I will do another test on a beacon with the res chip but lost a team mate on a 35 last week and resurrected him first attempt.

So as far as I know they are still working.

Oh and 3 of the 6 team members who are confirmed have res chips hehehe.
