UK Based Gamers Event

I am wondering of the many UK based Entropians (and even non-UK based who are willing to travel) would like to attend a major UK Gaming Venue?

Typically these events are geared toward hardcore gamers but, via the poll, I'd like to know how many would like to attend a large gaming event.

i take itur talking about a big lan party-type thing? and more specifically, PE/EU event? or are you adding more games to a mix?

my interest is certainly peeked, though before i vote i'd need to know a lot more info. it'd totally depend on what you'd have organised.

Well, I'm trying to gauge if people are interested in a large LAN Party style event yes, other games will be played on-site, but not mandatory.

It's a poll to find out if, despite not being interested in that kind of thing in the past and now with your experiences in EU and social networking, whether people would be interested in going to a large event like the Multiplay events.

Definately not interested, I deal with enough nerds on a daily basis with work, I like to keep my social-life a bit more 'hip'. (No offence to the nerds lol).

Nuh i've been to LAN's before and they're quite fun, just not for me anymore

Many of my totally not nerdy friends enjoy a good lan as much as doing something like paint ball or go-karting. Nothing nerdy about some of the bigger LANs either, given there's more than just bringing your computer and sitting in a hall of people.

nice - didn't know places were built to function as lan party hosts!! suppose it was only a matter of time. how old is that place?

I have spoken too a few of my uk soc members and they are interested and so am I. just down too holiday etc..

there is no reason why we cant play EU there as well as take part in CSS and COD4 but a group could be created so that the entropians all sit in the same area that be cool..

will defo look into it.. just hope i can get the time off.. not voted yet till i know more..

I'd love to meet some fellow Entropians but I'd much rather do it in a pub than at some geeky LAN meet. So the London meet sounds much more appealing than this (though I don't think I'll be able to make it). I guess that's a no.
