fairly accurate. You'll get a really nice wheatbeer (erdinger, hoegarden) for the top price there, normal largers will be under £3, Wetherspoons pints under £2.50 or even <£2 if you sample some nice warm ales. i wouldnt buy any food in a pub for more than a tenner but then i m cheap and dont go to gastro pubs. iirc the Anchor is quite reasonable and the pub in Greenwich is a wetherspoons. your going south of the river, its a bit cheaper than west end.

Those on a tight budget might want to buy bread bagette or rolls from a corner shop to save money for beer (how i enjoyd being a student).

travel card to go everywhere all day on all transport is apparently £6.70 (thought it was less).

You're about right mate. Lonely planet is talking bollox re beer prices. Stella will do you for about £3.30 a pint during the day and probably £3.70 of an evening somewhere a bit lively. Fosters and other girls lager is normally 20p cheaper. Magners and other poncey drinks are generally same as Stella. Shots I couldn't comment on as I am normally to battered to care by the time I start drinking them.

just occurred to me that between us all we'd probably have £100,000 of virtual items/skills that don't exist but are worried 20p on a pint of lager.

If anyone wants a price list I can nip to the greenwich wetherspoons and be back with the info in about 20 mins although itl probably be 10-20% cheaper than other places since wetherspoons is the best I think you can get a double single malt whisky there from under £3-£3.50 unless the haze of too much whisky that night deceives me

Yep. Complete with Photos of the girlies behind the bar, current price list, nearest Kebab House and put a reserved sign on one whole end of the place for us.

Nah the price is indicative of being in the right places mate. Does depend where you go though thats true.

The beater took a bit of training but my skills are honed, fear not.
