The Amazing Race EU For original Idea Thread.

Event:
Generally lower level players, will receive instructions on a forum when event starts. They will proceed following clues and answering trivia to progress in the race. These clues/trivia will take them to different areas to "marshalls" who will give them an item to represent they were at that location. They might also have to answer a question or do something silly.

They will continue until they get to the end.

Cost:
First Race will be free to enter! This is not for high skilled players, this is from sweaters to other lower ends.

Prizes/Funding:
First race will be free, at the moment Ive secure 150PED in pledges and Im willing to toss in another 25PED. Im looking to get another 50-100PED in pledges/support, either in PED or items (lower items, like some armor, or a 101 amp or something to help out)

Volunteers:
I need several volunteers, Im thinking of about 10 sections for the first race. This means I need myself and 9 volunteers. They will have to remain at their designated location until all participants have passed the area. I also need help creating trivia/clues/riddles for the event so that they can proceed. Scheduled Race:
If all goes well Id like to have the race begin 1st or 2nd week of April. After that depending on turnout and future funding/volunteers then Id like to have it happen every 2nd week.

Duration:
10 legs of the race, so Im planning for at least the first one to take a good 1-2hrs to complete.

I know this is my first post in EF but, I have some time playing EU.

interested will the legs be free to be completed inside a week or will we have to gather at one hour and do it. already participating in the 6 legged race so i can say i am getting experienced in racing around

My plan was early April, but I forgot about my exams... so Probably last month of April pending on other big events going on also, would dislike having same time/day as WoF.

Therefore Ill probably revive this thread in April since its a full month away and Im sure I dont want to get everyone up for the event thats not gonna start for a month.


Ill msg up a few of my volunteers sometime in April, double check with my sponsors and begin building the first race.

Yeah, I also have exams during the first week of April.

The issue would then be whether to organize the competition during spring break or not. Some players may be away from their computers and some will be available at any time...

I still don't know what I will be doing.
So, I cannot guarantee anything.
