cK Coat Killers Proudly Present FCKS Falxangius cK Summer Summer Hunting Series No Champions League to get your weekly competitive hunting jollys this summer? No problem! cK Coat Killers is happily stepping in to tide you over, providing a ten week series for competitive hunters with FCKS. Win weekly contest prizes and compete for your share of a Progressive Prize Jackpot that will be given away at the end of August. Participating Lands: cK's LA-5 is located due North of Omegaton West Habitat and to the North West of Nea's Place. There you will find a generous helping of low maturity Falxangius (two DNA with maximum density, minimum maturity). cK's LA-16 is located just West of Wolverine Hope. This secondary Falxangius area caters to more seasoned Falxangius hunters (two DNA with maximum density, medium maturity) with an average maturity of Provider. cK's LA-8 is located just West of Nate Valley. This land offers large Bristlehogs (one DNA with maximum density, maximum maturity) and small Fungoid (two DNA with maximum density, minimum maturity) and is perfect for hunters that want to participate in this contest but find it difficult to kill Falxangius. Taxes are set to just 3.9% for hunting and mining on all three lands. And taxes are guaranteed not to increase during this summer long event! Tips For Falxangius Hunting: Falxangius do a mixture of 90% Impact and 10% Cut damage. Young Falxangius hit for up to 200 damage per attack and are an Evade based mob. Some armors that will work for killing Falxangius Young and the average damage expected are: * Jaguar (L) 5B - 93.5 * Phantom 5B - 91.9 * Tiger (L) 5B - 90.5 * Spartacus (L) - 87.0 * Angel 5B - 85.0 * Protector of the Empire 5B - 84.0 * Shadow 5B - 69.0 * Supremacy 5B - 66.0 * Rutuba (L) 5B - 61.0 So the best overall armor available to hunt Falxangius is the readily available Rutuba (L). Falxangius are known to loot LR41 unlimited and loot a regular supply of LR41 (L), LR65 (L), Empty Skill Implant (L), Polaris Harness (L), and Polaris Shin Guards (L). Falxangius have looted in the past and may still drop A-3 Justifier Mk.V, Dominax Original Cobra, Boar Foot Guards, and Shadow Shin Guards. How To Participate: FCKS is a series of ten one hour Highest Single Loot hunting events hosted on cK's LA-5 with bonus Prizes for regular activity on cK's LA-5, LA-16 and LA-8. To take part in FCKS, simply purchase a ticket for or register to compete in at least one of our weekly events this summer being held on cK's LA-5. Compete for weekly event prizes while racking up points to win your share of the FCKS Progressive Prize Jackpot. Earn additional FCKS Points by posting your global and hof screenshots from cK's LA-05, LA-16 or LA-8 in this thread, with the time and location visible. How To Win Prizes: There are 34 Prizes you can win during Falxangius cK Summer! Win 1st, 2nd or 3rd place in any Highest Single Loot event to win the weekly event prizes, given away each week on cK's LA-5. Earn points to win 1st, 2nd or 3rd place prizes for most FCKS Points accumulated during the summer contest period, to be awarded at the end of August. Get one chance to win our Random Modulo Prize for each FCKS Point accumulated during the summer contest period, to be awarded at the end of August. FCKS Weekly Event Schedule: FCKS consists of ten one hour Highest Single Loot hunting events held each Sunday from 19:00 to 20:00 on cK's LA-5: * June 28 * July 5 * July 12 * July 19 * July 26 * August 2 * August 9 * August 16 * Feb 7 * Feb 14 Weekly Event Prizes: Every week we will give away the following prizes at the end of each one hour Highest Single Loot hunting events held on cK's LA-5: * 1st Place: 200 PED * 2nd Place: 75 PED * 3rd Place: 50 PED Tickets to these events will be available weekly at Hadesheim Booth #8 and by registering at the LA-5 land marker previous to the event. Tickets cost 40 PED, about the same as the cost of one flight to and from CND. All ticket fees associated with FCKS will be given away to participants as weekly event winnings and will feed the Progressive Prize Jackpot. Each week, the Progressive Prize Jackpot will grow based on the revenue from tickets sold to each week's event and will be tracked and posted on this thread. Estimated Progressive Prize Jackpot: * If 15 players participate each and every week, the Progressive Prize Jackpot will be ~1200 PED. * If 20 players participate each and every week, the Progressive Prize Jackpot will be ~3200 PED. * If 25 players participate each and every week, the Progressive Prize Jackpot will be ~5200 PED. * If 50 players participate each and every week, the Progressive Prize Jackpot will be ~15,200 PED. To qualify to win any FCKS Prize (weekly or Progressive Prize Jackpot share) you must buy a ticket for or register to enter at least one weekly Highest Single Loot hunting event at cK's LA-5. 2. Should you wish to participate for FCKS Points Prizes only but do not wish to participate in any weekly hunting events, simply purchase a ticket from Hadesheim Booth #8 and you will be immediately eligible to participate in the FCKS Points competition. No screenshots will be accepted for FCKS Points from players that do not meet this requirement. 3. The contest period begins Sunday June 28, 2009 at 00:01 UTC and ends Sunday August 30, 2009 at 23:59 UTC. 4. Screenshots to earn additional FCKS Points must be posted here within 24 hours of the time shown in the chat window. 5. Team globals are allowed for FCKS Points, but only one hunter from the team can claim the screenshot for FCKS Points per entry. 6. To be valid, all screenshots must clearly show the location, timestamp, and the name of your avatar or team. 7. Globals are only valid if scored within the boundaries of cK's LA-5, LA-16 or LA-8. 8. All screenshots from the last day of the competition must be posted no later than Monday August 31, 2009 at 23:59 UTC to be considered for FCKS Points. 9. Do not edit your posts! If you have something to add, make a new post. Edited posts may be disallowed. 10. We reserve the right to disallow any entries in the case of suspected photo shopping or other foul play. 11. The judge of this competition is Qing-jao Rei Fei-tzu (truantduck). In the event of any dispute, Rei’s decision is final. In the event that you feel you should file a dispute, please contact truantduck directly via PM. 12. To determine the Random Modulo Prize winner, each point earned will be assigned a number on a Modulo list. The PED amount of the highest Falxangius loot posted to the thread during the contest period will be used to determine the Modulo winner. 13. A Modulo list and FCKS Points totals will be updated each Sunday on this thread to keep you informed of where you stand during the competition. 14. The Modulo list and FCKS Points totals will be updated each Sunday by Darth Skippie Boobie (Skippie). In the event you have any question or concern regarding screenshots, points totals or anything related to contest standings, please contact Skippie directly via PM. 15. During each FCKS Highest Single Loot event, the avatar running each week's event (Rei or Skippie) will monitor points accumulated during the event by participants and add these point totals to the weekly updated standings and point totals after each event. It is not necessary to post screenshots of globals or hofs earned during weekly hourly events. This will be done for you. Outside of weekly events, it is your responsibility to screenshot and post all screenshots you wish to provide for further FCKS Points. 16. All members of cK Coat Killers and cK Shadows except for Qing-jao Rei Fei-tzu and Darth Skippie Boobie are eligible to participate in FCKS weekly events and to compete for FCKS Progressive Prize Jackpot winnings. 17. Qing-jao Rei Fei-tzu and Darth Skippie Boobie are eligible to participate in FCKS weekly events but may do so only on weeks when not hosting the event personally. Well it sounded great at the beginning when i thought i didnt have to hunt Falx and still have a shot but with not one event for the lower LA its a bit of a waste considering the falx hunters get exactly the same but their entry fee atleast gets them into an event that can earn them 12pts.
Thats half an ATH or 2 towers worth. Thats already a big enough start when you throw in all the event points plus the falx's ability to earn non event points easier. EDIT Can i offer a suggestion? Hold identical events on the bristle LA at the same time as the falx events for a reduced point value. Anyone who enters for the Flax event can no longer enter for the bristle events.A hunter can move up from the bristle events to the falx but cant go back if they do.
