The Double Helix Fighting Association is about to open, but we need fighters.

That's where you come in.

I want to know who is interested in joining a PvP tournament to see who is the best of the best in fighters.

The entry fee will be just 10 PED WHICH WILL BE PAID AT AN AUTHORIZED RETAILER, SOON TO BE MENTIONED when your weapon is purchased (see below). 50 percent of all proceeds will go to the winner. the other 50 percent will be split among the event staff.

PARTICIPANTS NEED TO BRING THEIR OWN WEAPONS! THESE WILL BE WEAPONS FINDABLE AT AN AUTHORIZED RETAILER TO BE NAMED SOON! EXACTLY WHICH WEAPON WILL BE DISCUSSED LATER.


WHEN MAKING THE PURCHASE OF THE WEAPONS, AS MENTIONED ABOVE, THE PRICE WILL COVER YOUR ENTRY FEE, SO BE SURE TO LET THE WEAPONS DEALER KNOW YOU ARE PURCHASING FOR THE EVENT! ANY ADD ONS WOULD ALSO NEED TO BE PURCHASED FROM THE RETAILER AND REGISTERED (ALONG WITH THE WEAPONS) FOR THE EVENT.

The winners will not only get the 50 percent. No, that's just the start! The winner will get the 50 percent AND become the champion of DHFA! We will be trying to get the Double Helix Fighting Association set up so that Everytime he/she fights (so long as he is not disqualified), he gets paid, win or lose!


Some of the other fighters, though they will not receive a reward, WILL receive invitation into the DHFA, where they will be paid for every fight they do, win or lose (once we succeed in the creation of the DHFA).

Rules to date are as follows:

During the pre game interviews, and during approach to the ring/cage, fighters can wear whatever they desire.

After the bell rings, NO ARMOR may be worn by either fighter.

REFEREES will be ARMED and ARMORED during the fights.

At any rule violation, Referee will fire shots at the violator until the violator stops breaking the rules.

IF a shot is fired before the bell, a referee has the right to choose a place WITHIN the fight (after the bell) to fire the same amount of shots at the violator(s).

Like Wrestling, the rules may often be broken, and a fight still continue.

UNLIKE wrestling of the professional variety, the Referee will be MUCH more active in enforcing the rules.

There are two types of disqualifications.

Type One: Single Match Disqualification. This is merely when the Referee kills a fighter. The other player wins, and the one who was disqualified is not paid for that match.


Type Two: Permanent Disqualification. If AT ANY TIME the fighter purposefully fires a shot at the Referee, that fighter is PERMANENTLY DISQUALIFIED. Is NOT paid for that match, and IS NO LONGER A MEMBER OF THE FIGHTING ASSOCIATION. (he/she is fired). The reason is that a Referee is the system's balance. Those willing to break rules must also be willing to pay the price.

THERE WILL BE DIVISIONS (SKILL CLASSES)

Lightweight Class (100 hp or less) (In Boxing, "Golden Gloves")
Middleweight Class (140 hp or less) (In Boxing, "Platinum Gloves")
HEAVYWEIGHT ("uber") Class (141 hp and up) (In Boxing, "Titanium Gloves)

If we have enough variation, more classes can be made as needed. There will be 2 different fighting styles:

1) BOXING (using ONLY TT style gloves WHICH, FOR RULES AND PAYMENT PURPOSES WILL BE PROVIDED BY A WEAPONS DEALER AUTHORIZED BY US"), which will be done in 3 ten minute rounds, or until someone is knocked out. Referee and Myself will determine who wins in the event of no knockout. In the event of an undecided vote, the vice president of Double Helix, or the highest ranking event coordination team member, will make the deciding vote. In the event of knockout in any round, no further rounds will be necessary for the match.

2) ANYTHING GOES. Players must follow all rules given above, but the player can bring ANY weapon they wish, SO LONG AS PROVIDED BY A WEAPONS DEALER LICENSED WITH DHFA.

IS this melee fighting or rifle etc, armour fapping and so on. Otherwise ull get uber players just dominating the fights and earning money, in which case noone is gonna enter

Exactly as stated, will events be separeated by skills? Otherwise, only those with mod mercs, sup , shadow, eon etc..armors will enter...

so right now, if its' set up as anyoen can enter, it's kind of lame.. sorry but it's true..

oh wait, maybe i get lucky and crit somene with an opallo instant death lol...

ahh... I been wondering if we could set events and limit weapons used, armors etc... those would be true events equal to all who enter... (add a lil pvp in there and totally awesome events...)... yeah yeah only dreaming...

Actually, I've already made up my mind that in the match, no one is to be wearing armor save the referee, who fires at someone for any (yes ANY) violation. He fires at them till they stop breaking the rule(s).

I will soon post what rules I do have. If any is interested, this is a great way to post ideas and such. And I'll continue to add rep to those who contribute good stuff!

As far as separating by skill levels, is there a way for me to tell what someone's skill level in a class is? Is that part of what's in the screen when I hit the K button?

Question:

How many divisions do you want to see in this event? What kind of fighters do we have that want to participate. I need to know what you use and what skill you are at it. Post here or PM me with your answers. This will determine what kind of divisions I put up.

We have our Ticketmaster, who wishes to remain nameless till the event is finalized. This guy is one I am confident is known enough to be trusted by most if not all.

Just wanted to remind people of a few things or update what's already here.

the price will be 10 PED, and will be paid AT THE EVENT, not before, so you can save up if need be.

ALL LEVELS will be admitted, and there WILL BE CLASS divisions, so don't worry about being thrown too far out of your leage.

I WILL HAVE someone there to take tickets who is trustworthy, so don't worry about losing funds. I am pretty sure you'll trust who I have chosen (more info on this little one when the date is actually set).

THE WINNERS will not only divide half the entry fee among themselves, but THEY WILL ALSO have a job with DHFA (Double Helix Fighting Association) where, win or lose (so long as they aren't disqualified), they will be paid for EVERY match they fight!

I need more interest, however, before I can get this ball rolling. I need people before we can set a date.

I might be interested;
my ideas were: Anyone can enter but have to use the same weapon, and class divisions are divided into the weapon types the entrants are most proficient with - just a few ideas, they might not work :P

If anyone is interested in this concept, please post. If not, I understand. I DO need response from folks if you want to even CONSIDER this idea, so I can guage whether it's a good idea, or a dead one, at least for the time being.
