Out's Mining Bonanza

What is it?

Well like the title says it is a mining event, held by me Outman. I am hoping to give miners an hour long competition that is just for fun. The atmosphere will be more relaxed and there will be prizes, but they will vary depending on how many people attend this event.

This event is set to take place at 1:30(MA time) next Saturday(Feb 17), and we will all meet at a set location(still not sure where). Times and dates may be changed based on RL events.

Prizes

There will be two basic prizes and maybe a few added ones.

-First Global (35-45% of the entree money)

-Biggest Global (50-65% of the entree money)

Please Note: Prizes may change based on how many people enter, there may also be more chances to win.

Entree Fees

These fees are based on your chances of winning, since the higher your skill level in prospecting or surveying the better your chances of getting a global.

10ped for people level 1-10
12ped for people level 10-20
14ped for people level 20-30

Note: Any gear is allowed so this fee takes into account what gear you probebly use. Also I will have a trust member of my society collect the money, so you can be sure I will not scam you.

Rules and Regs

- You can use any gear(I can not garentee you will break even, if you win a prize, but I hope you will)
- You can mine at any location.
- You must take a screenshot of your global (I would recommend take a shot of any finds you get) and pm me upon getting the global.
- The event will start at 1:30 and end at 2:30, and if no globals are found, there will be a prize for biggest find.

Other Info

If you sell mining gear and would like to sell it at this event, sponser a prize(like biggest global on a set LA or smallest claim) or have the meeting place be an area you own, make a post on this thread or pm me. I will be adding to this post so please keep an eye on it. My society mates and friends are welcome to join and they may win a prize, all globals will be displayed on chat so there will be no cheating. Feedback is welcome and for all who enter I hope that you have a great time.

The idea is great. If I was a better miner I would have joined your event, unfortunately I just got into mining and am quite noob in it, so I do not have a chance.

Ok guys since a few of you pointed out the entree fee had to big a curve I have lowered entree 10 ped base price, if your level 10-20 it is 12ped and if you are 20 up it is 14ped.

Ok, guess alice will not be collecting the money, I will find another person to do that . If all goes well I will hold another event, that will be at a better time for people in Europe.

Sorry, I do not know you and probably do not know the "trusted" member of your society. I voted no because of this. If you want to have an event, then have an "event" using an event terminal.
