In this "event", an avatar buys 1 - any amount of tickets. Each ticket is numbered, 1 on up(I will have a list of who has what numbers). Then on a give date, I will draw ticket numbers for different prizes up for raffle. The drawing of the ticket numbers, will be done using a custom made random number generator.

Time and Location

The drawing will take place next Saturday(not this Saturday), the time is not set yet. The drawing location is still up for decision as well, a nice flat, house or shop would be a nice holding area if anyone is interested contact me via PM. If you can not make it an win an item, you can of course pick it up later.

Tickets

Ticket costs will be 1 ped for 1 ticket and for every 5 peds of tickets you will get 6. You can buy as many tickets as you want and can buy them at multiple times if needed. To buy a ticket find me, I am usually at the twin tp by the boxes or PA by the boxes (yes I trade, complain all ya want, just not on this thread ). You can also PM me on EF and arrange a meeting.

Support

Like any event, donations by a bussiness or avatar will be welcomed with open arms be it peds, pixie shins, a low tt crafter L item or angel shins(I wish). I will mention the donators name at the drawing and on this forum. So, this is a chance for new crafters or bussiness owners to get their name out into the Universe. Also it allows old players to get a bit more rep and a customer or two. Personally I think it is a good trade off donate a ped or two and get a customer or two. PM me or find me in EU to donate.

So now here is where I will cover half the posts that would of been made in a few lines. I am NOT a scammer. I can not prove it, I am sorry sometimes a bit of faith is needed. Anyway a ticket is 1 ped, worst thing that happens you lose .1 US dollars and the best thing you find out I am accutally trust worthy. If you donate an item, you are welcome to personally hold the item until the event and personally hand it out. So no scamming posts please we all know the risks, no need to push the matter.

Ok any ideas on what prizes should be I am looking for stuff that runs maybe 5-50peds. Maybe one higher end item at like 100-200peds. It all depends on the amount of tickets sold, but you get the idea, don't say get shadow armor or something like that.

This means I will make the program, so you can be sure it will not contain any bugs. It won't be something I find using google and downloading the first hit. Also the ticket prices will be changed a bit still 1 ped for one ticket, but for every 5 peds you get an extra ticket instead of every 10, Anyone who has bought 5 tickets or more will get the extra tickets added on and if you want to buy more it will be added to your current total.

Fair enough...just post the code and be prepared to let be scrutinized by the participants and if it passes...you've got yourself an event!!! Good luck and much success

btw, RNG's are pretty simple and straightforward. I wouldn't worry too much about "bugs" It's your show

I like programming and figured by making it myself people could see the code and I could make sure a few little things were in order so that numbers are not picked twice.

I'm not entirely certain, but I believe MA discourage people holding "lotteries" within EU. Like I said, I'm not certain, but at least make sure you've covered your bases by sending in a support case to make sure this is legal.

Just bumping it up, I will still be selling tickets, I sent in a support case, but MA is taking a bit of time. Anyway 1 week from now the drawing will take place hurry up and get ur tickets. The sooner I get the peds from tickets the more time I have to buy prizes with em .

MA did once say they will ban players for holding lotteries in EU. Lets see what they say now.
