HjS-LAN #8 September 2007

This time HjS-LAN will be hold at the internet café GameCenter in Nyköping, Sweden. We have chartered the whole place for 50 hours including all equipments. It will be 25 rental computers and room for 25 more to those who wanna bring there own. The price will be 250SEK for a hire machine and 100SEK for a seat if you bring your own computer. GameCenters space is 415 square meters with a cafeteria, Poker room and rooms for X-Box 360, PS2 and Nintendo Wii via projector. Free parking lot for all participants behind the building! The LAN starts on Friday 28/9 at 12:00 till Sunday 30/9 14:00.



To be able to take part in this event you need to be Swedish or Norwegian and registred at www.hjerpeskans.se. This is the 8th HjS-LAN we arrange since 2002.

Gamecenters equipment:
AMD 3600+, 2Gig DDR2, nVidia GeForce 7600 GT 256MB grafic cards, 260 Gig SATA2 hard drive and 19" LCD monitors. Projectors connected to X-Box 360, Nintendo Wii, and Playstation 2. They will also be used during the computer competitions and watching movies. The connection to internet is 50Mbit fiberoptic via "Stadsnätet".

- Poker tournament (Texas hold'em)

Really crap I can be there this time, was a blast last time and I was hoping to come back, bur conference crashes with this date.

I wish everyone a good time and if u hesitate to go there, DONT, its just lots and lots of fun, and who wants to miss Neo Sharp rampaging at the poker table
