Inaugural Treasure Island Cup

That's right folk's its a new event running on Treasure Island.

It will be a marathon running around Treasure Island where competitors will have to run along the coastline of the island going through a number of check points.

The race will start at 0200 MA Time Sunday (11th November 2007).

The checkpoints will be as follows:

1. Treasure Island City TP (Start)
2. 19200, 24800
3. 20525, 26935
4. TI North TP
5. 22973, 25045
6 21322, 22979 (Finish)

Prizes will be

1. EK-2500 Deluxe FAP TT = 67.50 (markup= +557.38)
2. Isis CB-13(L) = 103.50 (markup = 122.94%)
3. Pub Bowler Hat (thanks to Mir) *

Minimum number of entrants: 10 people
Entry Fee: 20 PEDs
Prize order may change once values and items have been verified
Event will be cancelled if minimum numbers not met.

All are welcome to enjoy Calypso's First Tuesday in November.

Sponsors are most welcome.

To enter please post here and report to starting position by 0545 MA Time.

* Due to Mir's time zone the pub bowler hat will be given to third place getter some time after the event.

ok it seems ur all correct it was to good to be true, I've just collected it from the person donating it and its an Ek-2500 Deluxe. Not as good but hopefully someone will be willing to accept it as a second prize.

hi dusk yes TP chips are banned and will be enforced by two methods 1 will be u must go through each check point if u miss one then ur disqualified. secondly the time it will take is already known and so if someone does it within 2 mintues they'll be disqualified on the assumption a TP Chip is used.

sorry time zones are not my strong point date has been updated to show tomorrow being the 6th of November.
