EQUIPPING CALYPSO '07-'08s NOVEMBER 24th, 2007 Hunting Competition!

Emerald Lake's fifth Equipping Calypso compeition is here. Mid-range hunters only, but don't underestimate the competition you will see here. Month after month, our new and returning hunters are raising the stakes and wrestling for the win. This is not a fight for the ill prepared! So are you ready?

Equipping Calypso is a joint effort between Emerald Lakes Mall and a dozen reputable Entropian crafters who can provide a variety of useful hunting gear to mid level hunters to aid in their explorations and hunts on Calypso. Equipping Calypso encourages a friendly competitive spirit. If you are a mid-range hunter looking for a chance to broaden your hunting style, this is your chance!

Date : Saturday, November 24th, 2007

Time : 18:00-19:30 MA time

Where : Emerald Lakes Land Area TPs - The Emerald Lakes Land Area teleport is located at coordinates 14224, 24874 and the Emerald Lakes Mall teleport is located at coordinates 14215, 25114.

Sponsoring Crafter : November Sponsor is Divine Vixen Incarnate. You can find her shops at Emerald Lakes Mall Level 1 Shop 1, Twin Peaks Mall Level 1 Shop 1, and Twin Peaks Mall Level 2 Shop 10. Vixen has a combination of mining and hunting equipment. Stock ranges widely from Ore and Enmatter amps of all sizes, to a variety of unlimited and limited finders, extractors and refiners. Hunting Equipment include FAPs, Weapons, Amps, Lasers and Scopes and more. Vivo 175, Vivo Oxy 2000, Vivo T10s, Breer M and P series, Svempa 40/60s, Shears and Bull Tacs, the Loughlin varieties, and more! Visit Vixen's shops for a better idea what is in stock now!

Qualifications : You MUST meet the maximum skill cap of level 30 (or below) in any combat damage skill to enter the tournament FOR THE FIRST TIME. Read the rules & FAQ for details.

Rules : Most total loot wins the prize. Please read the rules!!!

Tickets : 40 PED each, 33 total tickets available. There are IMPORTANT rules for getting tickets! READ THE RULES AND FAQ!

Prizes : First Place wins a 1,000 PED shopping spree from any of Vixen's shops! All other places will gain points towards the final prize. Once again, see Rules and FAQ for details!

Curly Xcite24 Orridge storms our fifth Equipping Calypso with a 700+ ped berycled hof! Hurrah! Xcite brings home two brand new Apis to replace the one she used during the competition. Thank you to all participants new and returning! I will add these scores to the total scoreboard shortly!

... but your post seemed ambiguous to me.

Did you mean that the applicant's HIGHEST Combat Damage should be 30 or less... Or did you mean that ANY Combat Damage score should be 30 or less?

I'm guessing you meant highest, but thought I'd check. And since I'm asking blonde questions anyway... What if I had Level 38 Laser Sniper Damage but I wanted to partake using Longblades which were at say 25 or something. I realise there's a line in there where you need to trust me that I am actually using longblades, but for arguments sake: would I qualify or not?

Since it is pretty big and we have a lot of new and returning hunters, its simply too hard to promise to keep tabs on how every hunter will, well, hunt, in the compeition...
