How to participate if you're banned

There's a discussion going on at another forum, and it brought to light a problem with the practical monopoly that EF enjoys as the premier forum and community for EU: Many events have an out-of-game registration at this forum. I would like to hear from other players what (if anything) should be done for those people who are legitimate players but who are - for whatever reason - banned, or otherwise unable to access EF.

Shouldn't those players still be able to take part in the WoF and other events organised here on EF?

I would say yes they should be allowed.

Just because they are banned (for what ever reason) should not allienate them from pro community based events where the purpose is to bring people together.

Good point, I don't think your EF membership should have anything to do with ingame events.
However I think it's mostly the job of event promoters to promote not only on EF but also on other forums, and maybe design other ways of registering.

yeap same here too...they have the right to participate in all the events that take part in this forum...

Aren't people banned because they dont like or cant follow rules?

Surely the events would be better without them as all events have rules and its obvious they struggle to obide by them.

I agree. But if a thread is started also on another forum, it would create many problems regarding team composition (i reffer to WoF) .... I really dont know a sollution for that ... Maybe register through email but ....

Have no clue how it can be done, but i agree that all entropians should have acces to registration on all events

We all know that there are individuals that have been banned for just making the "wrong" statements. All bans are not about rule violations.

If a player gets banned on EF.com its for reason!

So if the player want to take part on an event that is only promoted on EF it is his own fault not beeing able to take part at this event as he didn´t follow the rules of this forum.
Why the hell we should allow them to come back, as this players don´t want to follow the rules we are all accept?
Will you give them another chance to spam around and harras others in the event section?
No I don´t want them back, as I don´t like spam, harrassment and badmouthing in event threads !!!
