Entropian football is back !

Hello everyone,

I hope many of you will remember my first thread about entropian football (for those that need to refresh their memories: Sport Event: Entropian Football)
After the first match had been played, I had loads of work irl for my education, so I postponed the organization of the sequel untill... NOW !

Entropian football is back and better than ever. The rules have been updated, the game has been balanced (might still need some extra tweaks ) and the guns are loaded. So i'd say let's do it !

WARNING: This is a game for EVERYONE ! This IS NOT an UBER GAME ! The cost for one match (per person) is less than 5 ped, and use of uber gear is not allowed. The key element to win is teamplay.

The match(es) will be played Friday 25th January 20.00 MA time @ Solfaris crater.
First of all, you might be interested in how this game is played and what the rules are exactly:

Entropian Football
Rules
2 teams consisting of 6 players. (5 on the field, 1 replacement)
The game is based on rugby. The 2 teams have to try and get the 'ball' to the other side of the field into the designated square (goal).

The ball:
The ball is imaginary. When the match starts, there is one round to determine who get the ball first. The team that makes the first kill wins that round. The team then selects one of their team to be the ball, and declare this to EVERYONE (this will be repeated by the referee) Both teams go back to their starting positions. When the ref gives the go signal, the ball starts running towards the other side. The person that shoots the person that is the ball, becomes the ball.

Kills:
The only person that is allowed to be killed is the person that is the ball. Any other kill will result in the disability to score any points that round. To prevent the other team from scoring they still need to get the ball into the other teams goal (or trick the other team in killing a non-ball player).
Only the ball player is allowed to kill non-ball-players.
BEWARE: you are allowed to damage other players, just not finish them off. So for tactical reasons you can try to keep the hp of your opponents low.

Scoring:
Once the player holding the ball reaches the other side of the field, his teams scores 1 points.

Spare Players:
Each team has a few spare players that can immediately join the field if another one gets killed. If they join before a teammate gets killed, their team cannot score any points that round. (They join from the back of the field. - this cannot always be done, so from sides is good enough)

Field:
The field is a square field, size and layout can depend on the environment. (The only official field atm is the Solfaris trade center)

Equipment:
Each player has a small gun TT opalo to kill the ball-player. Teams are dressed in seperate colors (eg orange – naked)

Armor & Faps:
Are strictly forbidden on the field. Healing is allowed while you're not on the field (between reviving and coming back ingame its alllowed, also between rounds healing is allowed)

Extra guidelines: Each team must allow the referee (and his assistant(s)) to drag hp boxes from them. Also the shooting of the referee or his assistents (which will not enter the playing field) will disqualify the team.

These rules have worked before, and if you would like to participate I would ask you to obey and respect them, for everyone's fun.

Now, to get to organizing a new match.
We will need (at least) 2 teams to compete, consisting each of 6 players.
You can gather a team of your own, and join as a team, or you can enter as freelancer. Freelancers will have to compose their own teams before the event.
Participating is 100% FREE !!! (excluding ammo cost which are <5ped!)

This time there will be a prize awarded for the winning team, which will be 60 ped for the whole team (10 ped each). Since the cost to participate is +/- 5 PED (!), and I dont have that much ped to give away, and the game is mainly played for FUN ! , I believe its a nice price.

I can't/don't want to play , but i would like to help out:
- Off course, any donations to the price pool are gladly accepted !
- Any other dontations like opalo's and ammo for the poorer noobs that would like to join will be distributed.
- You're a healer that would like to skill. Well... since quite some players will die and need fast healing to get back on the field, you should have plenty of work and enjoy a nice game of football :wink:

The uniforms for the two team are almost ready nice plan Nitro, hope that this event will become a regular sporting events for all entropian ubers and noobs here are almost at the same lvl and the fun is guaranteed
