Win 200 - 2,000 Ped EVERY WEEK With EU Turnpike!

Hello everyone!

EU Turnpike is going to be starting a great new weekly event - The weekly prize pool. Read this whole post to find out how you can participate in this event EASILY!

Imagine having the chance to win anywhere from 200 ped to 2,000 peds or more every Friday without having to hunt/mine or craft!

So how does it work? Simple...

The weekly prize pool is basically a raffle where members of Entropia have a chance to win a collection of peds every week.

The total prize value is determined by how many entries there are to the drawing... with a minimum prize of 250 peds!!

A percentage of the total intake from entries goes toward the prize value and a percentage goes toward the following weeks prize pool - to ensure that the prize is always larger than 250 peds.

So how do you get an entry?

During the week you will have a chance to buy entries to the drawing at EUTurnpike.com:

$3 for 3 entries
$5 for 8 entries
$10 for 20 entries

What about the EULA?

There is no need to worry about that because the raffle portion is handled completely out side of Entropia (meaning MA has no jurisdiction).

You purchase entries on the EU Turnpike website with money via credit card or paypal (all transactions will be handled with a well respected, secure payment processor - Clickbank, I will not be able to see any of your credit card numbers or personal information other than your name).

When you win, we will simply meet in game and I will give you the amount of peds in a trade (or the value of peds worth in oils). And according to the EULA it is perfectly fine to give peds or items to whomever you want, whenever you want, for whatever your own reasons.

There is no gambling, or raffling going on within EU.. it is simply one person giving another free peds/items. Which happens all the time in EU. For example, when players give n00bs free guns, faps, peds... etc.

And since peds are legally not considered to be a form of valid currency, this raffle is not considered gambling in the real world either. So it's Win-Win.

So basically here's how it works...

There is a weekly drawing that could be worth 1,000 peds or more. You simply buy some entries for a couple bucks and wait till the drawing to see if you won. There will be a guaranteed winner every drawing and it might as well be you!

Think about it, it's essentially spending 30 peds for a chance to win 1,000 peds.

That's all, no hidden costs. Now look at an event in game... you spend 30 peds just to enter than another 200 or more hunting in an attempt to hit some globals so you can win.

More often than not though, you walk away 200+ peds in the hole... What seems like a better deal to you?

Isn't it about time you had a 100% even chance of winning an event where things like "uber" status don't matter or offer unfair advantages?

If you are interested in this event and you want to participate please post here and let me know. Before this event starts I want to get an idea of the amount of people interested.

I'll look into planning the event into more detail in a week, after some people reply to this thread.

Any suggestions are welcome too.

Just because it does not break the EULA, or RL gambling laws does not mean that MA will allow it.

I will watch this thread with interest, but suspect MA will not permit you to operate.

Is it legal for everybody to just organize lotteries anyways? IRL i mean...
Isnt it restricted by goverment and such? I know that when you win some lottery price in my country you have to give 25% of it to taxes.
I am no expert so I might be wrong.

It's a good initiative, but i would investigate the laws a bit more. Not only your own country's

well, I don't see how MA can stop it really, nor why they would think they have any business with the workings of an event MY personal website runs... The event is completely run outside of Entropia. The gift of some free peds given to a selected participant is a side benefit of the event.

I mean, the only interaction in the world of entropia is when I meet with someone in game and trade with them to give them a bunch of peds or oils. So MA's only concern would be that I am giving my peds to someone at random for seemingly no reason... how does this really concern them? It's just more money in their pocket at the end of the day anyways... and how is this any different from me buying a bunch of opallo's and handing them out to n00bs for free?

I mean who's to really say how many transactions take place in EU where an avatar gives another avatar peds or items for seemingly nothing in return. I happen to know of several players that live nearby to each other and have there own dealings in game where user #1 gives user #2 1000 peds then goes over to user #2's house irl and collects $100 from them...

And another prime example of this is the gear renting service offered by someone who shall remain nameless... they have advertised on the EF though.

They have the exact same involvement that I will, where they hand over shadow parts (or other uber gear) to someone for seemingly nothing in return.

There have been many free give-aways at sites that randomly give out peds to people just for registering or visiting their site... If a person is allowed to do this I don't see why I can't give someone peds in game, regardless of my reasons.

nope, this isn't irl gambling... my fine print for the event (which I have yet to post) clearly states that the drawing is not for money or other negotiable tender. The price paid is merely payment for the service EU Turnpike provides... and the said prize of a ped value is actually an unrelated gift given to a person at random that is involved in paying for the said service EU Turnpike provides.

In other words - people are basically paying a membership fee and I am giving away a free prize to one of my paying members.

On another note, I don't want to make a hunting event because that completely negates the whole point of this event in which everyone has a fair chance to win, where skills and gear don't matter. An event that isn't bound by the rules of Entropia. An event that doesn't require a person to spend 30 peds just to enter then several hundred more peds to try to win.

Sure, you can buy a lottery ticket for that price anywhere, but then again isn't that pretty much what you do in an event in EU? You buy a ticket to get in... then spend loads more money in hopes of some random BS luck that you hit a big, or many big globals? EU is based on the premise of luck. You deposit money in hopes of getting more money or value back in return (either in loot, skills or entertainment value).

well according to the rules posted here I don't see any mention that I'm not allowed to have an event on my website in which I give a random user free peds...

But I'm very willing to see where you got this information from
