Do a search on LegoCAD. that search should reveal some freeware software that you can use to design devices and models using any humber of any of the diffrent lego parts.
Such software could come greatly aid you in desigining version 2 of this analog RSI prevention device.
It also can be printed out in a step by step instructions with part list.
Then you can just custom order the parts you need form lego itself.
The printout can then be released in some form of creative commons liscence in order to assist people with building analog RSI prevention device
