Another option you have is to go to stage6.divx.com and download their divx application. This application will go through your 1.8 Gig Video file and convert it into a HIGH RESOLUTION Video that will, amazingly, be only about 100MBs long or so!! The video will look exactly how it looks on your end. If you saved it on HIGH QUALITY, then this version will be the same, but the filesize MUCH shorter! In addition, when you are complete with it, you can upload it to divx.com and we can DOWNLOAD unto our PCs! Check it out, I did it for the Entropia Rockstar Video and worked great!

I’M quoting your post because its the last post recommending Stage 6.divx, I tried it but for the movie its not good, it changed the timing of the ending which was a important aspect that I needed to keep right. It moved the scenes then messed up the sound track timing.

I was able to upload the finished copy to my server and it should be some what better, also you will be able to save it to disk if you like and watch it on full screen.

Some one mentioned what programs I use..

I use Adobe premier pro 1.5 to make the movie but its usually a very big file, I then use the free Microsoft movie maker that came with my PC to make the movie a lot smaller.

After I made the movie on adobe pro 1.5 , I used the free Microsoft movie maker to make it smaller, I will look into this virtual dub .

one very important thing, keep in mind this film was made with my old ATI x850 (old Video card), which was lacking in shading.... my new nevida 7900 card will be used for my next movie

yea you deffinately should. you have quite a wide range of codecs to use to compress the file with, and you shoudn't lose any frames in doing so (i assume thats whats making your vid faster than reality).the files it produces can be quite tiny.
