Just asking... are AC's breaking the EULA? They're not interfering with the running of EU or something... and just how do you detect AC's? Am I gonna see "Mindark Bot Prevention" in the next spyware scan?

What will happen if I put materials into crafting machine for 1000 clicks and press "craft all"? 400 green messages in the chat window that flood me away from the server? Not saying about 100 swirlies that will thunder at once like a Jericho horn, blasting away everyone's sound speakers .
Actually, there is a "craft all" button in the blacksmithing/alchemy/tailoring/leatherworking/etc professions in World of Warcraft, and there are still green skill messages (even if not so many) so, why would it be bad to put it in EU as well? Well, only you don't hit globals in WoW

It should be fairly simple. Server logs would show a fixed pattern of clicks coming from the participant, which would indicate a potential auto-clicker. While a human could maintain a specific rate or pattern of clicks over a short period of time, the longer the pattern continues the more likely it is that an artificial clicker is in use.

Any AFK activity is against the EULA.
But they should implement some kind of autmatisation for crafting.
I don't mind the time some runs need, but I really do mind the dull and painful clicking.
Finishing the runs in one go does not seem to be a good thing, too many BPs with 100QR would float around.
But the possibility to have it autorunning and chatting would be great.
Maybe implement some kind of AFK checking ?
No activity within 5 minutes and user gets logged out.

This would result in smarter ACs with random pause between clicks.

How it can be done? A bot author can implement not only clicks but also mouse movements.

With AFK checking I meant a implemented way of not having to click zillions of times and still havign the user at the screen.
Bot autors will always find ways to exploit a system, no matter what.
But users should also not be forced use them (anyone ever tried to skill filters up to QR100 knows how it feels when the hand gets numb and how long the aches last).

That's why I buy my bps ready at 100 QR Now really... what's so bad about a "Craft all" function...

I don't know much about a crafting, I'm just playing around with it from time to time, but I suppose the choice of QR depends on the goal - low QR for skilling, high QR for production. I have one QR=100 and one QR<10 Basic Filters bps. When I'm using the first one, I almost always succeed and the return is about 80-90%, but I almost get no skills, maybe one green line per 30-40 clicks. With the second one the return is less then 40-50%, but every 4-5 clicks gives some skill.

I got my filters to 100 QR then my standard dampers to 100 QR and now my Plastic I springs to >80 QR. Not the biggest feat of crafting but not even a hint of a sore hand.

2-3 hours hunting however with manic clicking can start to induce carpal tunnel syndrome

Do you mean that with smaller QR you get more skills?

More server stress, no time sink
Might be a bigger "slotmachine" and I don't like seeing it like that
Skilling should not be fast, would spoil the chip market.
Things that are hard to archive and time consuming should have their price.

As for upping QR on things like filters...
got mine up to 55.6 , switched to dampers around QR 50 . Cant remember exactly how many clicks it took me, but it was several 10k and I will never forget how my hand felt the days after.
Could quite possibly be, that a lower QR gives more skill messages, fells like the skill ups is a combination of ressources used, failures, near successes, sucess and materials got back. With a low QR you have more failures.
But as we know, a skill message does not say anything about real skill gain.
You can get a whole skill level with one message or only 1 %.
