So?? That was over a year and a half ago if memory serves and they only took action after getting a torrent of complaints from the people participating in the BOT event that was happening then. The Avatars were dragging all the BOTS away and making it difficult to kill them. This individual is in the middle of nowhere and not effecting anyone.

They also went after the Ubers who were BOT HUNTING.. It's within MA's right to do this and I'm not desputing that. My question was what harm would this individual be doing to the USER COMMUNITY by BOTTING EVADE???

I could give a rat's ass if it effects MA. They've bent the user community over enough so if they lose a little evade I don't see the harm. They can take the cost out of my clothing repairs..

No need for fancy bot programs or autoclickers anymore.

I love people who write crap about things they have no clue. Frist off, that would make it any better than using 3rd party software, since both would cheating (let a programm or an item control your avatar while you're not there/you don't controll it yourself).

On the otherside, if you'd ever tried if yourself, you'd know that it doesn't work with putting a heavy item on the W key. Your avatar wont move after death until you repress the W key. Hence, this can only be done by 3rd party software (or hardware like a lego robot repeatly pressing on that key). No matter what, both is cheating. And there is no argument, which can make it not cheating.

And i'm sure to say, that everyone who defense such botters are cheaters themselve.

Still you should mind your own business, MA can see if someone is using a program which is not allowed btw autoclick can do that too, why should it be allowed for crafting and not for running ?

1. No it wont work, for the reasons posted above.
2. Obviously they can't and/or are to lazy to programm countermessures for it.
3. Who said that autoclickers for crafting are allowed? People who use autoclickers for crafting are on same level with the cheater scum who uses macros/bots to gain free skill while not controling their character themselves and also same as the people who use bugs/design flaws to their own benefit (aka exploiters)

Ok, how about this scenerio?

What if the person shut off all chat channels long ago (from the pics, he's a freelancer so maybe he's just anti-social??) and was actually running the controls? He revives, turns in the same direction and then hits R, turns and goes back to watching his soaps.

Would this be considered Botting? If it is, I guess we all are guilty from time to time.

As for free evade while running , a simple rule would solve that , you need to shot a mob to get skill from it.
The pro is not more free skilling , the con is , many hunter will whine that they get skill from only 1 mobs , even if 10 shot at them,or that they need to shot regulary 3 or 4 mobs when they are under heavy attack.

The good part is that would also remove the auto fap(because MA failed to code properly that mobs go away if no action...)

The whole afk evade skilling could have been fixed ages ago.
When MA finally logged ingame and saw what happened they "balanced" situation by nerfing gains for those who didn't afk-fap for months in row.

Agreed, let's rather talk about really important issues like:

Where are the Cash Cards?
Where are the Foot Guards?
Why are some allowed to run multiple avatars?
When will the hyperinflation hit the roof?

IMHO , they did lets all that go on purpose , waiting for som player to get hight in skill before nerfing...
They need "uber" for people to look up...
MA did not carre who was , and still dont , they just need them to exist...
Watch evry profession closelly , and you will see that all have bug for skill up fast and cheap for som time , and then the nerfing beggin...

ill be honest with you. i have been accused of botting or ACing several times in CND. because i stand behind the pilots and constantly scan them. i usually sit on my couch and click away as i watch tv. so i don't respond to anything. i checked the screen once and found people calling me a botter and threatening to report me. so i say to all of you; make sure the person is ACing or whatnot and make sure you are not causing anyone any problems. make sure they are guilty before you go off reporting them. i do understand that it looks like i am cheating. but so far there is no rule that says i have to be at my comp watching myself click. oh and BTW i also do this on mining claim (once mobs are cleared around it.)

Yep, I've said this for a long time too. When they had enough of players at
different levels, they toke action.
This pyramide will always excist, they will never let people who aren't in top
reach the top unless some up there quit, sell out or just chip out.
This has (hopefully) nothing to do with the name of the player, it's due to
stats of all avatars.
IMO, MA made the mistake to make a system where avatars become more
efficient when skilling up, and not less unefficient, sadly...
