right.. so here's the deal... I sold my laptop which was running the program + PE.. So I wanted to install it on my media center until I could find another solution... I dont quite know whats wrong on my media center .. but it isent OCR'ing anything.. (prehaps I need to install more office components or something)...

Long story short.. the program isent gathering any data now... and im calling upon all of you who has a spare computer to run this program.. PM me and ill send yoiu a manual on how you set it up.. whats needed on your computer and so on... I am looking for +10 ppl to run it since we need 24/7 coverage - and I dont trust anyone to run it 24/7

Answer to the first question you will ask: Yes its real time.
Second question: do a google search for OCR.
Third question: If its legal to take screenshots of PE, this is legal.

Fourth question: I dont know what you can use it for - prehaps you can see trends before there is a large HoF on a mob.

Wow, only now learned about this project. I have built something similar in the past, but that was very labour intensive and situation specific. Also it did not include the great reporting that you have built.

The reason for me not to continue it was that i did not have a spare box available to run it on. (and be able to play entropia)

Seems you have run into a similar issue

Update.. My new laptop can run PE.. alltho not very well.. but its allright for the OCR.

So thats fixed - alltho.. if anyone wanna run it so we have a fail safe.. please be sure to let me know.

Also.. Ive made it so you can change faulty OCR'ed names now. You can ofcourse only change the name to be your own name.

There is no manually checking on my part so in theory you can change "Arthur starman dent" to be your avatarname. However - I do keep a log of avatar name changes. If you change "Arthur starman dent" to be "Your avatar name" and you arent arthur starman dent. Then your account will be blocked, and your IP will be banned from the site with no possibility of it being lifted again.

Btw, instead of using left click for the avatar to stay connected, why not using Escape ? It also keeps your avatar connected

oops. what if you change it and realise that the "avatar name" you put it is not absolutly correct ie aridash rather than ari ari dash? the my account doesnt seem to work at present, presumably it would be changable in there? or create a new account? I had no idea OCR was so picky and prone to error, i think theres about half a dozen different readings of my name. and how come some are with 0 globals?


also.... any chance of have the time set to GMT/Calypso?

From the signup page:
"Please enter your full avatar name. We use this to give info to you about mobs you hunt. Enter your FULL avatar name."

I am not kidding... enter the right stuff / what im asking.. or i cant help you..

I think ill go through the accounts (some 300) and delete all that hasent got the data right... country.. email.. avatar name.. and so on...

the 0 PED globals on some accounts is because it inserts the playername before the global...

erm, yes, i know, just autopilot, i have never really used the correct avatar name since i created it. (how many people wish they could amend theirs. ). pencil me in for a removal when you purge.
