As 711 said Tussi and I will update the server programs and the clients to send data to a new IP (Entropiatracker).. so we have the server program running on the same machine as the website. This is a pro. server solution which will be much better than having it running on my "parts from under my bed" server...

I will see if we can move it tonight... (Will post here if you guys need to download any updates to the grabber client)

Right... About the ISP feckup (where my line went down and me calling them a lot of times).... yeah.. they fixed my problem allright... but in the process of fixing it... they gave me a new IP.. even tho im paying for a static IP... FECKERS !!!... ill be calling them again..

Good news everyone:

First, the tracker is getting data again. It seems that the connectivity problems Starfinder had motivated the DB-Connector (a .NET process which enters the data into the SQL database) to run away in confusion (hence no update to the database).

Second, the data arrived at the Relay (the Python part of the server code which connects all Clients to the DB-Connector) intact and is safe and sound in a debug logfile. Since Starfinder decided to rewrite the Connector (for various reasons) we're full of hope that we can feed the data to the new version to close the gap in the DB (sadly not possible with the current version of the DB-Connector because certain sanity-checks would ignore the data as old) at some point in the future.

Third, i created a new version of the Relay (which i hope Starfinder will find the time to install soon) with better sanity checks. The ability to duplicate logged HOFs and ATHs through user creativity with the ingame UI is history now - the existing dupes are easy to detect and will be removed as soon as Starfinders time permits.

Last (but not least) a new version of the Client (0.3.9) is available at http://tussi.safehost.de!
Among other things it will now connect to 2 Relays (the Primary @ Starfinder and a Backup @ my server) to provide failover for the server side, is able to inform the user about updates (a note will show on startup in output window when a new version is available) and it now displays the detected globals in a human readable form.

Just few words...

I heard about EntropiaTracker the day it was post here.
I created a account few days ago and I saw that it was a great source of stats.

Like it's probably said before, it collect data from Globals, HoF and ATH but not from the big important part of the Loots under 50 Peds.
But it's very interesting (for me at least) to see all these stats.

If MA could introduce a option to see the Loot's value under 50 Peds in the chat window, I think a tool like this could collect every stats we want about Loots.

When I came back from work tonight, I loged-in EntropiaTracker site and Support was online.
I ask for Premium membership and 10 minutes after, it was done.

Thanx a lot for the great Tracker and real fast and nice support.
Tussi is the one who registered me as a Premium but thanx also to Starfinder.

Basic Tracker is good, but more stats is a lot better.

I'm happy to be a Premium Member and to support those who work hard on it.
On my side, I will run the client as much as I can.

If its not useful just ignore, but just had two 68 PED Itumatrox Old's in the space of a few minutes. Tracker recorded the first but ignored the second, presumably thinking it was another instance of the same one?

Hi Jimmy B,

yes, that's a known issue - and caused by the current duplicate detection in place. The code currently (among others) ignores globals for a certain timespan (to prevent recording them again in case the user scrolls around in the chat or toggles display of chat channels).

I have some ideas on how to design it in other ways, but they will need some coding - and may have other sideeffects i havn't thought about yet...

So for the moment we'll have to live with it - sorry.
