Since I logged out near his apartment I thought I better check to make sure that it was still ok and no one had taken it again.

Looks like the rent has been paid - not only was it given back but it was given back with some free rent!

The door was open so I walked in to see if his stuff had been returned as well. I had no idea of all what he had, but based on the list in the original post I found rancher hat, lumber, paint, weapons, and bp books along with a few other items.

Remind me off yesterday i got scammed on 100 euro. i was to pay 2 beer with 10 euro (100 swedish crowns about) and as we know, they have the same number.
There we got a real scam i didnt realise it and i dont thinkt he guy in the bar did either, anyhow, that is the most expensive beer i ever been drinking.

I was visiting my friend once when he was at university living in halls of residence. We had just left the building, late to meet some mates when he announced "Shit I've left my wallet in my room!". "Man! Hurry up!" I said, so he ran back into the building & jumped into the lift (elevator).
When he came back I heard that he had got out of the lift, legged it down the corridor & burst into his room. Where he found this guy he knew having sex with a girl in his bed! He then looked at the number on the door, it was 504, not 604, in haste he had pressed the wrong button in the lift & got out on the wrong, identicle looking, floor. Apparently nothing was said at the time, he just burst in, scared the shit out of this poor couple & ran back out again. Had some explaining to do the next day though.

BTW, all these stories about taken cars by mistake are starting to freak me out!
I had also my share of stories of mistakes like that, perhaps more than it is normal for someone when sobber. I remember one day when i was walking down the street and saw a friend that i didn't see for more than a year just walking on the other side of the road. I waved~, crossed to the other side, the guy also said hii, we shook hands, and i was asking if he wanted to go for a few beers so he could tell me what a hell he had been up to that year, and then, on a closer look, i realized he was a total stranger to me! I had left my glasses at home! (Oops, sorry i mistaken u for a friend of mine_ but why the hell did he play along? forgot his glasses too?)
