What would be your last drop?

I have only posted on these topics a few times, but...

I think EU is in a very close to tipping the scales in a bad way.

The lifeblood of the economy is the lower and middle tier player. Ive been playing just short of 2 years now. (Still a uber noob I know) but it has slowly gotten harder to enjoy the game with each and every VU.

If they dont put the balance back into the system, it WILL crash. Right now it is too heavily placed in MA's favor.

Just think about how casinos run there business..(yes i know EU isnt gambling) but if you take the middle cost games in a casino the idea isnt to make you lose everything right away but slowly over time. This means that you are staying there longer. (hey lets get some dinner and then come back) by keeping the customer for a longer period of time, the customer uses more services and thus you get there money anyway.

The difference. value

you take ALL their money early and the "experiance" isnt as rewarding. they are less likely to keep coming back

you slowly take their money and now it isnt thought as being heavily wasted. they are more likely to keep coming back.

i am really sorry for veering off topic. but i thought it needed to be said.


now that it is back to the original question...

pretty much what everyone else has said is how i feel too. just look at pets right now...that is a really low move. there isnt any need to nerf pets. really. stuff like that is what makes me want to leave.

but i will stay and here is why...I have made many friends in this game, people I have a lot of fun talking to. Wether its from spain to the US to africa...it doesnt matter. Its the relationships that are built within EU is why I will always be around.

I have already stopped playing as much as I used to, the only thing keeping me going is the Crysis engine. If nothing else I will probably quit after that if MA makes the game suck.

Similiar theme to Eggrolls comments..I will call it a day when the amount I am willing to deposit each month exceeds what I perceive as value for money based on the time spent in the game. I have found lately that I am needing to desposit more/play less.. to play at the same level of enjoyment... and the straws are mounting up on this camels back.

After all I play this game solely for entertainment purposes.... so as long as it stays entertaining I will keep playing.

As others have said, having a forced fee to pay (needing to eat, walking tax etc) would just take the biscuit.

Altering the majority of mobs with new health and regen rates would probably make me think twice about carrying on. I enjoy hunting solo but I don't want to be shoe-horned in to having to do 70 dam/sec just to kill an Argo

They won't make money if no one plays.

I'm playing a lot less atm for various reason but one is that have now just stopped depositing ( can't afford it anymore).

For me :
Another equip decay ( weapons/tools)
If all the remain mob got health boost /or fast regen! making it so much expensive to hunt.
Food /time tax
If my Society folded

Hmm.. I think I'll almost for sure will never leave EU.. I love the game too much love the community, my society, my ingame friends and all the good times I've had ingame..

But I know I would consider a serious brake or at least get really mad at MA if they:
-Stopped letting newcommers join.
-Making a teleporter fee.
-Make the avatars need to eat food. (which I do't understand how, but something like that which would cost money for nothing would be awful.
-Decay on equipping weapons.

Sure is more things.. But yeah, theese are some of the worst things they could do to me.. I think... Not sure what it would take to make me quit tho..
