This isnt really about the character of the original poster now, is it? The guy has a point - he's just expressing his opinion, which anyone can do whether u think their actions or posts in the past warrant that right or not..

I dont personally find it the avi name offensive, but i can see why some might, and i think its perfectly fine that he felt strongly enough about it to bring it up..

I havnt seen it myself in game, but if i had my first thought would probably have been that its gotta be offensive to someone out there.. so this thread doesnt surprise me, nor do i rebuke the thread starter.

It does seem that its degenerating into the realms of pointlessness tho so...

Hurricane names are planned out - how do you know there's not some beautiful story about the hurricane Katrina that hit a few years back, how he met his love ... blah blah etc. etc.

Just as he's free to express his opinion - I am too.

The guy made a name - he's not standing around towns talking about how fabulous the hurricane was or degrading those who were hurt or affected by it - it's just a name.

No probs lady just wasnt sure how what he may or may not have said in the past was relevant to the topic

As far as i can see the original post wasnt really agressive or hostile - seems he just wanted to see if others felt the same..

Shame Ivan Hurricane Katrina hasnt been on, im sure he's probably not meaning any offense and he could probably have sorted out this thread on the first page...
