yeah I put characteristics of myself into my avatar... my rl height is short, so my ava is short... I have a long nose and full lips, and so does she... I have blue eyes and up until recently so did she..

I view my avatar as an extension of my personality... Some days I feel a little wild, so she's a little wild..

It is possible Tidesong. Avatar creation system has many, many possibilities. True, that asian looking ava would look rather like a euro-asian mix, but still it is possible to create very close to asian looking ava. I had occasion to play with it a bit as I asked to reset my ava looks after some glitches occured (such as red area around eyes). You can get really nice results there.

My ava doesn't look like me. What I wanted to achieve was good looking lady in her early 30', looking for a fragile creature, so she's short and not very strong built. She has dark skin, just because of 2 reasons: piss of rasists ingame and do something that was not very possible with old avas (they were basically more or less white). She has green eyes because I like gren eyes (mine are brown with some green/yellow/grey tone)
She was not modelled after me, nor after any movie star. She was supposed just to be good looking and that's all. I have to admit (I'm not being very modest here ^^), that I achieve what I wanted

IRL - girl, online - man --> not very similar
IRL - white, online - was Native American, is African --> not very similar
IRL - curly hair, online - curly hair impossible --> not very similar
IRL - short, online - short --> this is very similar point, I have RL size perfect for PVP
IRL - "rounded", online - slim, no big muscles nor anything like it --> not very similar

And I'm not interested in geology IRL

So as you can see my ava isn't based on me
I am a devoted RPG fan and I love to read and write fantasy stories. Jason is a chacter from one of my first stories and he is supposed to look like I decribed him in there. It is impossible to achieve with the current avatar creation system anyway. But he looks as similar as it was possible
And since 90% of my characters (in games, RPGs, stories) are male I have no problems with playing a male chacter at all.... Freud would be interested I think

about as thin as I am probably similar height and hair not a million miles off although it vaies of course. Personality is probably some version of myself. I dont really do acting, its too hard. I think its me if I were Wistrel, if that makes sense?
